Just installed mine. Super easy install. I pushed up on the heat shield before tightening down the bolts and it allowed for plenty of clearance from the wastegate.

Anyone confirm this fits on the AMS kits?

Extremely easy IF you can put the damn thing on without dropping the bolts and or spacers and or washers. I have yet to get mine on. Lost a bolt and spacer. Easy to do, just awkward as fuck! Especially since you cant take the stock heat shield off to help with install. Or maybe I'm an idiot ? but bolt and spacer is somewhere in engine bay or on some road now ?

Just got mine installed and was super easy as well. I tried an alternate method for keeping the spacers in place while starting the threads: A piece of 1" painter's tape. Punch a small hole near one end of tape about 3-4 inches long and push the mounting bolts through. Then, on the other end, stick the tape to the heat shield. Once you get the threads started, just pull up and away on the tape; it breaks pretty clean and you can finish tightening. The internal tooth washers are a great idea, but I thought this might be easier still.

yeah, that's smart. And it would have saved me a trip to home depot. Nice work!

I installed my shield today. It definitely cleans up that area. It fits perfect and the install was straight forward.

The only ask would be to include at least an install diagram. I’m sure some people will need a little more guidance.

Glad I found your post. Thought for a moment that I got the wrong part.

Agree, instuctions and videos are outdated.

If someone really needs instructions on how to install 6 bolts, they probably shouldn't be installing the part. This literally took 5 min, with no instructions....

+1 for using the painters tape. That's the route I chose as well.
