@Spart & @NitroYellowMKV
Seconded.
The CDV drove me nuts - more than most folks, it seems. Even after removal, I am hungry to go aftermarket clutch (not until power requires, of course). That being said, the difference is not remarkable but it is (subjectively) important. It really does feel...
I don’t know what your timeline needs to be but we’re in the absolute wrong season to be selling. We have the luxury of listing ours but not needing/wanting it gone. If your space/time constraints allow, hopefully you can sit on the rig for a while. At least get out of the holidays before...
Sally forth, friend. You have a rare piece and someone will want it. Many will whine about the price but…it ain’t for them: “I would never!” …so dont.
Maybe you flex down for the right person, maybe you don’t…but you have an objectively hard-to-find rig, and that commands value. Good luck!
I had anticipated a long wait, and even asked the shop if they’d mind me pulling parts for Femto during the downtime. They assured me it’d be quick and that most all parts were easily available.
The parts did come quickly but their painter had a delay and the insurance was being troublesome, so...
Picking up from the bodyshop tomorrow. Will advise on actual cost but estimate was around $12k. Parts and repair was surprisingly quick but insurance (other drivers) has been lagging, and trying not to pay the bodyshop. We’re being allowed to take the vehicle while they battle.
We’ll also be...
Good morning,
There is another thread where a few of us have posted our recently damaged Supras, most of which seem to be incidents where others are at fault.
I’d like to compile some value information (I’ll also be searching for recent sales) that we can use to navigate insurance and even...
Ours is in the shop for the same issue. 11-12k on insurance - other drivers fault. (We were parked and away from vehicle - thank goodness for honesty)
Parts are more readily available than I thought but it will still take some time. Make sure they cover a rental for you! ?
Good luck!
All used - and all purchased before this market went absolutely berserk. The 05’ was purchased long ago, with few miles, as second owner. Also have a cherry original with 7500 miles but that’s being driven by father-in-law; meant to actualize MIL fun car dream but she doesn’t actually like to...
We have a few in constant rotation - all daily; wife and I do a lot of driving 6-7 days per week.
20’ A90 23000 mi
23’ A91 2600 mi
12’ C63 60000 mi
90 dodge Cummins
Some s2000s in various states of (dis)repair
We try to limit miles on some of them in the summers - it’s been 110+ here for a few...
I absolutely LOVE seeing this on the Supra page. We have Supras in the yard but the 12’ C63 might still be our favorite. Not “good” at anything but an absolute blast with everything. Snappy, raw, and sounds amazing. Brutal. Maybe not elegant but… brutal and sort of oddly refined.
The 63 is a...
I’ll chime in for the sake of balance/statistics.
We’ve worked with Richard/Harrison a couple times in the last 6? years. All good experiences. We’ve also worked with 2 shops in Scottsdale on different cars and those were “good” experiences with varying degrees of personal touch.

To add to this:
We experience the same issue. Semantics aside - the brake will release based on some algorithm in the vehicle software - essentially: hitting a pedal while the brake is engaged and vehicle is running.
I see many are saying, “have better habits!” and “just do things in this...
So much sauce in here, yikes.
It’s striking to me how many folks are considering if the car will look unique/get attention from OTHER people. I get it it…but it’s also odd. I don’t generally buy or build vehicles based on external factors like that. (Now, now.. don’t be offended - I understand...
These Supras have a tendency to collect pebbles between the front brake rotor and the dust shield. There is a large opening at the top, which funnels into an area of lesser clearance. Sometimes the debris frees itself but other times require you get in there and force it out.
Most folks seem...
Recently ordered some parts from Meraki, 1FastSupra, and SupraMod. All ordering processes were smooth/good, and everything arrived nicely. Thanks.
AMS catted and AWE touring resonated get a thumbs up. AWE had no stock on the black tips but has a great system to address the issue.
The Rexspeed...
Adding to the off topic…
It seems a lot of folks are taking things personally. Maybe assertions could have been made more gracefully but the fact that there exists a skill-gradient with regards to operating a vehicle, the trans specifically, isn’t groundbreaking. Some of us are going to be...
That sounds “normal”/appropriate. I’d almost say ours sounds a bit better 1000 miles in versus brand new but that’s likely just a mental thing, and of course, driving harder.
Agreed that stock is arguably underwhelming.
Hoping to shoot some sound clips when DP arrives to include stock...
