Yes this is correct but I’d add that MHD is not the only available solution. Femto has offered support for BM3, MG1 and their own Femtool OBD flasher with their basic unlock service.

With a custom tune these cars are doing 500+ on MHD with stock fueling. Any ecu tune will be leagues better than JB4 unless you only care about roll racing, not how well the car actually drives.

This is downright incorrect. At $1200 for the ECU unlock from Femto + MHD license + MHD dongle the OTS maps will allow for up to 470HP on stock fueling with a downpipe and some E content.

JB4 != ecu tune they feel way different guys. JB4 can only listen to the car sensor data and then replay modified data back to the stock ecu. It always had a “laggy” feeling to me on throttle. Plus it’s not really desirable for me to have unpredictable pedal feel. For the same price as a JB4...

Burbles and similar features should still work. Certain features are not available for the Gen 2 B58 yet either. I recommend you reach out to MHD support for further clarification, or do the boring thing I did and read the usual manual

This is old news. Femto reached out to me last week to let me know they have a solution for the MT trims of the Supra now. It’s not ready to be cloned and full ecutek, but they have options now. Reach out and ask questions they are really helpful.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the absolutely USELESS heads up display in the supra premium trims. Why can we not get gears/rpms on the HUD? Why can I not get oil temp/AFR/pressure on my HUD? These fucking HUDs are in EVERY new BMW. Why is no one doing an aftermarket software exploit for them...

Armytrix is the brand that makes a “cat-simulated” downpipe. I’ve seen mixed reviews, and it’s too expensive for my taste. Got my catless downpipe for $90 on eBay lol
