Almost 1700 for 6 months... good driver. Decent coverage and uninsured/ under insured coverage. It's a must in Florida.
Price changed drastically when I moved from city to suburb back to city.
Wait... so the elsd is also cheaper than the open diff? Lol
Back on topic, I think 2.0 depends heavily on where you live. For 90% of my normal driving, the 3.0 is just wasted. I went 3.0 mostly for track stuff, but if I didn't do that it would have been a harder sell.
2010 370Z Nismo with a GTM twin turbo kit
Replaced with a Ducati Panigale 1299 and a Scion FRS 10 series
Got rid of those two for the Supra.
Next car? Lotus Emira? Or maybe actually finish my project FD?
In this other thread where it was brought up someone emailed Toyota and they said it was a mechanical and all the reviewers are saying mechanical. Maybe they switched it?

100% not mad at them, I'm looking forward to seeing how people mod them.
It's close enough to be in the conversation. Mod for mod I'd say Supra. But I'm sure there will be plenty of look at this fbo, tune, tire and e Z destroy this stock Supra lol. What I'm wondering is how well that auto...
Nope... its worse. It has same base hp as stock 2020. About 40hp less than the 2021. Honestly, given the weight and dyno the Z does pretty well.
99% positive that if you put it on the same tires it'd still be .2s behind. Any of you Z lurkers with a deposit on one want to test that out and are...
And so many of these fan boys and reviewers keep quoting the performance of the performance with the price of sport. E.g. 10k cheaper and only .2s slower tires will fix that....
Don't know how else to explain it... no the 40k option is not going to be only .2s slower. So I once again had to...
His butt dyno needs calibration. Since the manual Z is about a 12.8s car and the stock Supra is a 12.1 car... that garbage open diff on the sport also cut like a 5.65 0 to 60, which was like half a second slower. So the open diff manual at 40k would probably be a close race to the 2.0. It'd trap...
I don't know why but this made me laugh so hard. For all the Z lurkers. Nothing but love for most of the Z people, it'll be a good car and pretty quick.
The hype was just a bit too much. But we know what that is like here, we thought we were going to get a FT-1.
Sat in 90% of that interior for years...it was ok at 30k and a decade ago. For 40k to 50k and over a decade later that's a terrible interior. The Supra interior is much higher quality. Oh wait I forgot, it's not cheap and dated it's paying tribute to its heritage by reusing old parts.
That video was garbage. All 'feeling' and no real #s. Drives performance model and then says it's close to a tuned 2020. Then proceeds to act like the sport model at 40k will perform the same with its open diff. Also said the mechanical diff in the z and the elsd in the supra are pretty much the...
We should be kind, after all they just woke up to the realization that new automatics are way faster than manuals.
I don't know if they're ready for b58s are actually stout.
To be fair I rarely see any Zs at the drag strip and when I do people post videos in the local fb group calling them...
I think that's it right there. If you mod your Z you can have a good run against a stock 3.0.
But I think the supra is just easier to mod. Bolt ons may be closer, but weight is still an issue. The ease of upgrading the the turbo on the b58 just can't be beat as well. Finally, no idea of how...
I just checked on the z site. They're being pretty realistic for the most part. A lot of damn that manual is slow, and the price is about the same only to lose.
Sounds like a sense of disappointment in Nissan on pricing. The 40k for the base was always a sales gimmick. I think people thought...
