Has anyone tried to wrap the exterior side window trim with either ppf or vinyl to hide the scratches?
They're matte plastic/rubber sections that get scratched and scuffed pretty easily. Looks like they're easy to remove:
I know FTSpeed sells a carbon fiber add-on version, but I'd prefer...
Added a bit of color to the interior today: red seat belts.
Huge thanks to safetyrestore.com, Milan for the color info (https://www.youtube.com/user/milanmastracci) and Brian for the DIY (https://www.youtube.com/user/brosfourrspeed)
Full-screen Apple CarPlay! Huge thanks to Rob @EasyBimmerCoding
Also removed the plastic trim pieces from both ends of the rear aluminum bar. I don't mind the 2mm gap all around especially since nearly 80% of the squeaks and creaks are gone now! Need to clean up the finger prints though.
I had bronze on my last car. Loved it! But decided to go gunmetal metallic this time with this Supra. I also made my own "A91 stripes" in matching with the wheel color. (Sorry for the poor/grainy pic.)
I really like NVS's work, but for a 3M tape-on solution, OLM is the better deal. Maybe I'd pay $500 (or more) for a full OEM-matching (actual) REPLACEMENT parts for the center console, like their rear armrest cubby.
I've noticed quite a few windshields being replaced and repaired due to minor damage on a larger scale on this platform than other makes and models I've owned in the past.
Has anyone had any experience in windshield protection film? What did you use? How much did it cost to install...
APR Performance have had a limited powertrain warranty-backed tune available for select Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche and VW models since 2017. Not sure why BMW hasn't.
It's ironic that Tada designed a vehicle meant to be modded, yet we're being penalized for it...
Wow! That's a lot for an amp, DSP and sub enclosure.
I remember looking into their systems when I had my BRZ. That was a complete speaker replacement (not just an added sub), amp and DSP for $1600. I think they had one without the additional sub for $300 less.
While Tadda's mod fixes most of...
I'm selling my Magnaflow XMOD catback exhaust as I just installed the AA downpipe and the combo is too loud for my taste, so I went with the OEM catback...for now.
It's in great condition! Bought new for $2400. Only had it on the car for 400 miles. Will need new downpipe-to-catback band...
I emailed @Extreme Power House last week and they replied last Thursday that they were being directly shipped from AA and would try to get me info/tracking number.
I also emailed AA directly last Wednesday but still haven't heard back from them.
