Those boomerang headlights and taillights were Nissan's signature design element at the time - like the Lexus' hourglass grill and Acura's 5-point "beak" looking front end.
It worked well in the 370Z since the lights contoured the bumpers and rear fenders. But it did get old after 11 years.

While the exterior design is definitely polarizing and the interior has quite a few bits from the 370Z parts bin (albeit with LED panels and updated tech), I welcome the 400Z to the playground as a companion rather than adversary.
We've lost too many import sports/sporty allies -RX7/RX8, MR2...
Autotecknic sells matte black ones from IND that slip on just like OEM. I think they're the same size and dimensions too. But for $295, I'd rather just powder coat the OEM ones.

United Speed Racing is another choice. It's cleaner...
Awesome! I'll try that.
I couldn't get the 1" template cutout in through the 3 little port holes. Figured the top two would be easier, but I didn't go to the extent of removing the sub top panels.
Did you just stuff the whole area or just either side of the ported locations?
Most of the info on removing these are in this link:

But I've removed pieces 1 and 2, applied plenty of Tesa tape and re-torqued the aluminum bar. Still have squeaks and creaks.

I loved my '15 Golf R.
I'd probably get one again if I lived somewhere that would benefit from owning an AWD vehicle as I'm not into SUVs.
Hopefully they'll bring their huge sunroof to the US this time.
On that note...
"Despite the weather, British motorists are far more likely to drive convertible cars than their Continental counterparts. Sales of soft-top vehicles in Britain, which are now at about 60,000 a year, are twice as high as in Italy and 10 times higher than in Spain."...
