I mean, I'll admit I have no brand loyalty. Maybe brand preference.
I'd get a Z over the new 86/BRZ or even a 2.0 Supra. I just wished the new Z was more...
Wow. The similarities just keep coming. Even the protruding side trim pieces from the rear shock mounts are the same.
The more I look, the closer it just appears like a re-skinned 370Z with a VR30. :dunno:
Yeah, no sh*t. Splicing into factory wiring!? Uh... FTSpeed states "This version has a plug and play harness." Well, mine's already been shipped. Not sure what I'll do yet.
Hmmm. I haven't been getting any false readings with my Rexpeed mirrors.
I also have them set on max outward positions and I can still see her J-Lo hips. Lol.
I had the same mirrors on my BRZ, so I got used to the blue which is quite subtle in solving the glare issue. Losing the OEM...
So jealous! I dream about the manual R8. I'd still love to own a mid-engined car at some point. Either that or an NA1 NSX. They're basically going for the same price nowadays. Crazy.
I miss shifting. This is my first automatic in over two decades. But it's a great one. Turbocharged cars...
I could never daily a car with a CEL - no matter how much more power it's making.
What if another code comes up and you're just ignoring it based on the initial CEL from the DP? You'd never know it until you checked the code. Not something I'd want to do every time I started up the car...
I've had my share of head-scratching challenges with mods, but that makes it even more rewarding in the end.
I luckily don't have any horror stories or "crap, it's ruined now!" situations. More like, "now THIS is much better!"
I'm assuming it's that top light blue clip? But no sure which wires to tap into. I can follow instructions, but not too well with troubleshooting electrical stuff with a voltmeter.
While it's not the prettiest, it definitely appears to be functional in many ways - fog, running, brake/brake flashing and reverse.
The smoked one blends in better. I really want the always-on fog and flashing brake light function - too many distracted drivers.
Hopefully someone will post some...
Well, here it is. Not the prettiest, but functional. Hoping for someone to post a DIY soon.

@Munkeeboi , thanks! I'll try that. If it doesn't work, I'm sure I can still use it around the house for something else. Lol.
@brentyloke, that may work. I have some of these from my dashcam kit. The back of the Rexpeeds are pretty flat and smooth. I was able to tuck away the wiring pretty...
@Driver181920 , great review! Thanks!
I have the same set which I have installed last week. I love them so far. They do as advertised and improve visibility.
I had them on my previous BRZ as well. I'm actually surprised the BSI works at all! Lol. For a $150 aftermarket part, I didn't have...
This makes sense now.
I tried to see if the glovebox can be detached since I wanted to run some wiring behind it for the footwell lights but it appears the long dash panel behind the climate control has to come out too. Ugh. Thankfully I was able to just run it behind the panel under the...
Ugh. People can't be trusted. This is why we can't have nice things. Lol.
The day I can't do any more of my own oil changes is the day I go electric. ?
