Interesting that if you just take their own "objective scores" things look a little different. Although I would strongly debate their definition of "objective"... but we'll give them the benefit of the doubt:
Mach 1: 68
MKV: 80
m240i: 88
Z: 68
So until you add in all the subjective horseshit...
There's so many possibilities it's hard to tell with just "buzzing" noise - is it obviously coming from right where the speaker is, or is it just "in that area"? It could be as simple as some of the wiring has come loose from the clips, or a bit of the "damping" (more like two drops of gasket...
Wing looks nice... should be a good inexpensive option I suppose. 20 or more years ago and I'd agree on the replica disdain - but in these days of multiple brands sourcing same parts from same warehouse in China... meh.
I love my $800 Eames lounge chair replica... and personally think that...
Yeah, if anything it would be a leak in the charge pipe or intake manifold on that side... not turbo. Not that I think that's the case... very hard to tell from video - but would make more sense than the turbo failing.
The speakers are pretty good (but far from great) but the way they're set up is trash. I don't think it's even possible to blow one with the factory amp. First thing would be to work on the EQ to try to reduce a bit of the resonances that hit in the 1kHz-2kHz range, then I'd definitely...
Yep. It would take a very long time to reach the ratio of parts to value I achieved on my CRX... granted I got the car for free (in trade for IT work actually) but it would have been lucky to sell for $2K when I got it. I spent more than that on just the valve cover and seats (both used). And...
I've never waited even full minute for a pump when I go, I just pull straight up to a pump. Honestly, when I go there... it's faster than regular gas stations, since half the time they have broken card readers, broken pumps, long lines at the counter to pay cash and avoid the additional .20/gal...
I pretty much only run Costco premium in mine... but I avoid any time between 7:30am and 8:30pm... early morning and right before closing there are at least 5 open pumps especially on the left side.
During the hours the store is open you'd have to be insane to get gas there. However they're a...
Looks like 275/35 + 305/35 setup would be nearly perfect... since the tires get ~0.8" wider than the stock sizes, but the wheels are ~1" wider... so should have a very slight bit more roll at the contact patch. Still probably might want a small ( 5mm) spacer on the front depending on which...
My collection is a bit shy of yours (esp. regarding the vinyl) but then you've got a decade on me so that makes sense. I think I'm at ~1400 CD's and I admit to feeling exactly the same regarding physical media. Although I've found a tablet and Roon makes a decent replacement for leafing...
Agreed these are a nice cheap-ish option... might want to work a bit on the write-up however:
:hmm:
Interesting also that it's the same kit exactly (rotor size, 6pot, price) for both front and back kits, but retains factory e-brake somehow? Seems like those $400 adapters for other kits are...
Agreed that 5 is impossible. For fossils such as myself that remember Tower Records and their Pulse magazine (or garbage advertising circular, if we're honest)... it was a more reasonable 10. Although that was 10 albums, which would be similarly impossible IMO. I think it was called "Desert...
Although I'll admit to not being a huge KSE fan myself, and it's definitely not a perfect analogy (considering that Jesse was technically the founding vocalist)... but it's a bit like asking if you like Black Sabbath with Ozzy or with Ronnie/Ian (... or as Henry Rollins famously put it):
