For me too (or not early enough), but I just stayed awake for it. Was pretty interesting for the first bit. I thought for awhile the way Max was tearing through the pack that he might finish a full lap ahead.
You know you're doing something right when you're in P1 but it looks like you're...
It's an interesting thought exercise... since none of us will get to be an F1 driver anyway.
Would you rather have more conservative compensation and "image" but a great car and team... or be more of a superstar but then drive for a team that struggles to adequately fund development and...
This. I actually liked him back then... but at the same time I feel like ever since (leaving RBR) it was mostly shit-talking about abilities (which admittedly is part of the game) but then nothing but excuses and blame when his performance was a dumpster fire.
I feel like he believes...
Would be great to see something like that here... however, with the way our culture - sadly even including car culture here works - I think it would be a mostly losing proposition.
All tuning options (esp. factory ones) are likely to disappear just like the ICE itself eventually - drowning in a...
I feel like so many of these reviews can be distilled to the same result:
"The Supra is definitely better as a sports car... but the Z is better as a plain car."
OK, sure... but if the majority of the pros column are about comfort and feeling less aggressive - then it should have a back seat...
It's on the factory wheel because that's the one that Toyota picked from the parts bin provided by BMW. Partially because BMW apparently limited them to "outdated" versions... here is a wheel from a 2017 320i.. look familiar? (the climate/radio controls should also look familiar)
And here is...
I guess it would depend greatly on how you drive in "standard road car" mode. If you cruise the freeway in 3rd gear regularly - then you'd definitely see some benefits. :p
@APEXRaceParts : So the October target is the expected date for those of us in the group buy on the VS-5RS 18" staggered sets to ship?
Also for those interested and looking at the sizing guides... there are a couple "unicorns" which will give a slightly taller setup (but not requiring spacers...
This. I couldn't even keep the audio on for the full lap... had to mute. To me that's the biggest problem with EV sound vs. ICE sound. Even the "brassiest" exhaust tones from a 4 banger sound positively sublime in comparison. Maybe if I wore a helmet every time I drove it.
Luckily it's much...
As a previous owner (briefly) I believe the "S" stands for "Shit we glued to a base model" - just like all Toyota "Sport" modifications like hood scoops and wings that only increase drag & weight. :p
I don't consider it an "ethical source" by any stretch... but there are thousands in almost every city that will trade you one for a few bottles of liquor and/or pills. Provided that being in good working condition isn't a requirement. :confused1:
You're not alone... it's like a photographic stream of consciousness going on there. It took me back to open mic nights at the coffee shop in college for a minute there.
Although I've definitely owned cars I wish I'd never purchased in the first place... I regret every one I've ever sold/traded (at least occasionally). Unfortunately, not being a fan of the "amateur junk yard" look as far as the house is concerned... and not having a 1,400+ sqft. garage means...
There's a couple guys that run yellow on their track cars... don't know how LE in your area treats that sort of thing, but if street you might have to deal with some fix-it tickets.
Yeah sounds more like condensation burning off (or "steaming-off" I guess in that case). Probably wouldn't even be visible to you if you lived here - where the current "monsoon season" barely gets the humidity up to ~50% while it's raining. Thankfully it goes back to ~10% after a couple days.
