Might scrape a bit more, but it would only contribute ~0.4 inch in rolling height reduction. Don't have the Eibach kit myself so I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing the total would be about a 1.25" drop from stock? Definitely wouldn't be taking speed bumps head-on, but shouldn't be a...
Because mid-engine RWD is substantially different in both drive dynamics and cache? At a guess it would be much closer in price to the MKV than the GR86. Possibly even more of a halo offering and slotting in above the MKV (although I doubt this).
I'd love it if they made a "poor(ish) man's...
Even when you can find something that was modified tastefully and professionally (and properly maintained)... it's rarely the best choice - unless they did everything exactly the way you would have. Also a bit more common to find at auctions rather than at dealerships, as the seller knows what...
Wait... when did this happen?!? We're bigger than India and China now? Suddenly all those "firm price deals" that magically increased by $3K-$5K on the way to sign papers are making a lot more sense!
???
@GoldenEye While I would certainly agree that not all in your industry are scummy... the industry itself definitely is (which obviously translates to a "birds of a feather" scenario). Not blaming you guys for that... it was the dealership-lobby (and politicians on the take) that made it that...
Oh it's definitely greed... but the opportunities for that greed are almost exclusively supply and demand based. Even on relatively pedestrian models, let alone something with as limited a supply as a new MKV. Tried to see a new Lexus NX when we were last there for service on my wife's RX...
If it was a show car (and a trailer queen at that)... there couldn't be enough black on it IMO. However, on a daily... even the very limited black accents are a bit of a problem... thankfully they're matte (except A pillar garnishes). I still have to clean my windows every 2 days to prolong the...
I resemble that remark. Although I did two (in a row actually). For 24 hours after detailing it's truly amazing... after that progressively less so. The best part of the yellow is that pollen isn't noticeable at all. On my black cars, they would look a bit "fuzzy" after a single day in the...
I'd guess a bit over the original cost of the car... possibly well over. At this rate it will easily be ~$130K all-in when he's "finished" (if that ever happens), not including all his labor. It's definitely a thing of beauty though.
When I have a house with a 12-car garage... then I'll worry about keeping everything in mint condition forever. Since I don't, might as well have a few reasons I "need" to trade vehicles every few years. ;)
Not at all... your posts have just as much value as mine... oh wait, that does suck. Seriously though - out of all the plushy monkeys posting here, you're my favorite. :D
You should... but make sure famous has given consent first.
And I really need that trailer hitch... the sideways looks alone on Home Depot runs would make it worth every penny.
That was basically my experience back in '06 with my 350Z - despite ~33% of the new 'RevUp' engines being affected. I did it... and eventually so did they (engine replacement under warranty). Hopefully, this will be the last time you have to deal with it... Toyota seems to be quite a bit better...
I thought the space invaders look was one of the best parts... besides, it's a concept. If it ever did actually see production the result will be about as similar as the MKV is to the FT-1. In other words... it might keep the splitter and the roofline - and that's about it.
I find it to be one of the most comfortable 2 seaters I've owned... and I've had several over the years. If you're anything like me... the short commute won't be a problem, because you'll find 'reasons' to just take the scenic route instead, and turn it into a 20 mile drive. :D
As...
I sure hope it can run on them... because all the time I've spent chasing unicorns with plastic bags had better pay out some day. And don't even get me started on how hard it is to wash the blow-by out of your hair. On the upside - it tastes like skittles.
Seriously though, at least it's an...
