Repo'ed cars are pulled onto flatbed while they are in park. Tow trucks have zero problem doing this.. so cars will get stolen no matter what if the guy/girl wants it bad enough. They should've made a release for the lever like most AT cars..

Mine makes little buzzing like noises after a drive. It's been this way (same with my Golf-R) since the beginning. So far no issue.

I keep my stock parts.. when it comes time to sell, I will decide whether to return it to stock or just sell as-is with the stock parts in the trunk. Unfortunately with the Supra, the stock exhaust won't fit once removed from the car..

I have that kit as well.. never assembled it though. I just kept it NIB as part of the display as I have the color sample diecast and 3 other smaller ones from Kyosho. Tamiya has the Tom's Supra RC car as well if anyone's interested off a TT02 chassis, I think it was.

While it won't be a perfect match, I would use TS40 metallic black. I have an actual nocturnal black paint sample Supra diecast they use at the dealers in Japan. :cool:

I first don't drive on rainy crappy days so that alone saves me a lot of time cleaning the car. Then as other have mentioned, I use a MF towel and some QD and just gently wipe away the dust while admiring my Eventuri intake and engine cover, other eye candy bits. ?

I did not know the PSS were discontinued.. I suppose I am glad I bought a spare front and rear tire (one each) during the potential tire shortage scare a few years ago as back up. Next set I'm just going to buy fresh for all 4 corners and sell those 2 new ones I guess.. :dunno:

I don't even bother with factory oil any more. LiquiMoly stuff has been great on my other Euro cars, why not my Supra. I started using LiquiMoly this year and will from this point forward. Cheaper, readily available, and have an actual JUG I can capture my old oil to take to the autoparts...

With crazy labor rates in the USA sort of makes sense? Not that I accept it. Dealer minimums are usually like 1hour labor which is like what 150/hr these days? Plus material at retail can cost north of $100.. so near $300 range would be normal :doh: + tax? :crazy: LiquiMoly + factory filter...

It's okay man.. I decided to hibernate the car in September, not just because of the weather, not my mom. Just because I own a car does not mean I have to drive it. This mentality of car sitting in the garage is a waste of money is silly. I have sweaters sitting in the closet all boxed up...

My car was bought cash and insurance is suspended (comprehensive only). Why? tires dont' grip well in colder weather and while it might not snow, they still lay down ice melt in areas prone to black ice.. and I have 4WD cars that are fun to drive.. so why not? :dunno:

I like the wheels and the butt.. and if it really is $70k, price point too. Not sure I would replace my Supra for it, but would make a nice garage mate for my GR.. :dunno:
