Noted. It's no problem, I will modify it a bit and make it work so that it won't just fall out. No need for 3D printing and all that modern stuff. It's all about duct tape and balsawood for me.;)
Cool. I will try mine next Spring when my Supra comes out of hibernation. I don't need it to be super tight or anything as I don't put my arm on that area, I don't think, while I drive. I just want them covered. But I am pretty good with making things so I can probably fix any shortcomings.
I think the Supra is a great weekend GT (grand touring) car.. it's got enough power and stability to drive like a sport car that it is, but more a comfort oriented driver's car.
Perhaps a good match for someone with a raw car like the EVO.. and I still recommend you get the AT version and...
meh.. practice makes perfect OP. Just learn the car with what you have before adding all sorts of unnecessary bits you don't really need.
Most novice mistakes are from not enough throttle applied between shifts.. you have to keep the flywheel momentum neutrally spinning during gear changes...
OP - I am a MT guy at heart. Basically I've only owned manuals my entire life unless it is a car I share with my wife.
I already mentioned this many times, but if the GR Supra came MT on the 4 banger with BBK, that would've been the bomb. I would have bought one and parked it next to my B58...
My buddy who visited Japan recently gifted me a genuine GR cupholder cover. My car is under her car cover so next time I see her, I will give the cover a try. I've always wanted to cover those cup holders. Even my cheap 4 bangers (STI, Golf-R) have those garage door like covers you pull over...
I am my wife's biotch. :dunno:
Besides that, I work at an investment firm. I only make six figures so I am poor. You can tell by the poor folk cars I drive.
Mine is a 2020 with 4209 miles when I hibernated her on 9/24/2023.
No ding, no chip, no scratch, barely any swirls (just the rear trunk area and around the plate) which I can easily polish out as I have detailing gear.
Actually there are some tiny chips on the bottom of the rockers from the...
Why make life more difficult than it should be?
I use Stabil360 as I hibernate for 6months and sometimes it might take me a while to consume the old gas in the Spring. 360 has vaporizing capability to keep the internals protected even if the tanks is less than 90% unlike Stabil red. My car...
2 car garage? Mine is a 4 car garage..
I'm a simple guy and I am happy with my current 5 cars even though my cars are for poor folks. It's all paid for and they are fun cars (and one nice utility) in the real world.
:hmm: I would not be able to accept those seams on a hobby car for certain.
I originally installed clearbra on my Supra and decided the precuts are just not good enough with visible seams, etc and removed it before the adhesive cured. I think those that deal with rolls can manipulate the...
