When launching (w/o launch control), mine also has a habit of pointing the nose in an unintended direction. It's easy to control and recover but it's still annoying. I imagine it's a combination of needing wider tires and a properly aligned suspension.
I recall making a comment a month or so ago regarding an ECU flash from Toyota to give us more power while retaining the factory warranty. It wasn't official, just wishful thinking. If this is true then I'll be one happy camper. Ford does the same thing for their performance vehicles, it isn't...
Working in finance, I have noticed people don't really keep cars, especially sports cars for a long time. I see a lot of C8's and high end performance vehicles being sold with less than 2k miles on them. Enthusiasts are a dying breed, consumers nowadays want the latest and greatest then toss...
Just gave her a quick wash and removed some water spots a 10 second rainstorm left over. Took an air shammy to the mirrors for a pretty long time and there was still a stream of water that poured out of them once I started driving >.>
It only covers a quarter of the hood. You only notice it if you're standing right up on my car but I know it's there and it bugs me lol. I may have it removed and Xpel the entire hood so I don't see any lines.
I was jUST about to make a post about this. However maybe my car has a gangsta lean cause the water pool only happens on the drivers side of the back window.
Dude effing seriously! I washed my car today and as I was driving home, I kept seeing water flying out of the side mirrors and right...
Most people don't even know what it is let alone the type of engine/platform it's based off of. The ones that do just say "Nice Supra" and go about their day.
I too absolutely hated the way the A90's looked when it was first released, seeing it in person definitely changed my opinion, especially in red. Just wish the dealer didn't put the clear bra on mine.
For the no test drive rule I like to look at it from the dealerships perspective, no salesperson will say it to your face but they don't want their time wasted by people who aren't even looking to buy. Imo if you're looking for a sports car, you know exactly what you want so a test drive won't...
Thought about it but the more I drive it, the more I realize it needs to be faster. I'll keep my mods simple however; catless downpipe, full exhaust, enclosed intake, and a tune. Oh and I'll be purchasing lighter wheels and wider tires at some point.
In my case I'd be going with a single pipe (dual outlet) setup like the AA catback system. I prefer the faster exhaust velocity and tone of a single 3.5inch setup over the restrictive dual 2inch pipes BMW insists on putting on their inline 6 cars...
Haven't gotten mine ceramic coated yet however I'm using Meguiars Ultimate quik wax in the meantime. I also use Meguiars tire shine and interior detailer. The ultimate quik wax lasts a long time and beads water pretty nicely.
