Hi Phil, I may be interested, really just looking at best way to mount my plate without drilling hole sin the bumper. If you dont mind me asking how have you got your plate mounted now and why did you change from the Carbonio one?, any pictures would be great
Thanks to you both for that, I was thinking of buying a cheap private plate of 6 letters including a "1" and apparently the smallest legal plate size I can get for the reg is 367mm X 105mm, so I should be good ? Could nt see how its mounted in the centre - I assume it does nt block sensors etc?
Hi, that looks like just the plate holder i have been after for My supra MT arriving later this year. How does it fix on and does it mask any sensors or cooling? Would you mind giving me your number plate size in cm as I am going to preorder one soon - I assume 6 letters is prob the max width...
Have just ordered Matte White Special edition in the Uk, works out at £52k pounds includsing a 3.5k discount, which is around $59k only 1k cheaper than on the US toyota's site. In the UK though the special edition is priced at the same price as the std 3.0 pro version
Interestingly in the Uk...
Many Thanks, I really like the MX5 too and I'll get another years use before the Supra replaces it, it is a great go cart, so small and nippy. I had an Audi TTS before that, I'm sure I was put on this planet to try out as many different cars as I can in my lifetime.
Has taken a week or so to decide but it is a big purchase.
I think the matte white, tan interior and manual gearbox won me over and it just looks so good.
Due in October 23, which means I can get nearly a whole year out of my current MX5 ND and sell it at the end of the summer, so its a win...
Motec, Thanks for that, is that the zero white one, on the left of your garage ? If you have any photos of your car - can you pm some ? What's the maintenance of it like, have you had the paint sealed or coated ?
With discount its £52,380, a couple of grand more than you paid, which for the extras I think is worth it. Its a funny price point 50k, only new 2 seaters around that price is the Alpine and the the bottom of the range porsche cayman, neither of which appeal to me. You have to move up a 20k to...
I did have the 3.0 Pro last year, but found the drive with the Auto not very involving and the black interior not very inspriring so sold it on a few months later. However the manual with the new wheels, tan interior, manual gearbox makes it a lot more attractive.
Amazingly Its the same price...
Has anyone in the UK ordered the new Supra Manual Special Edition yet, if so what price were they quoted and delivery etc. Has anyone seen the Burn out white colour in the flesh. Am thinking of ordering one very shortly and would be interested in other peoples experiences with this model.
Nice cars these, I like the seats, but why dont they come with a HUD display or the 12 speaker JBL, as its a similar price to the 3.0 pro version. I would miss the HUD, as i genuinely find it useful, not so bothered about the JBL
Still undecided whether to give it a go myself or get the wheels refurbished a different colour which is around the £400 mark. I did think of buying a new one but i thought if I pay £600 for 2 new ones and then slightly kerb them Im back to where i started, can always get a refurbed, refurbed...
Fair enough, Ironically the launch control option on all the reviews does nt work well anyway, bogging it down, more than a manual start, so im not sure anyone uses it anyway. The summer is the season for this car and Autumn, mine will be off road over the winter. There's a brand new...
Why don't you buy a nearly new one instead there's plenty around from 45k upwards on AT some with just a few hundred miles on and your save a lot in depreciation too. I got mine a 3.0 Pro in Grey registered Oct 2020 with 2500 miles for just 41k - a huge saving on new for not many miles
Thanks for that info Black_sedan, now i know its polished as opposed to chrome I've decided m going to give it a go myself, I'm quite handy at the DIY so should nt be too hard to sort out.
Just deciding now what to do with the £600 I set aside for the wheel replacement !!
Do I put it towards...
