Good luck but I had no issues with Bimmercode after the recall. My Bimmercode version is 4.1 (12440) - 13.1.0 if that helps and I’m using OBDLink CX.
I don’t have worldwide numbers but in North America yes the MK5 has already passed total MK4 sales. Keep in mind MK4 was a complete sales flop for Toyota, but by all indications the MK5 has done well.
Just a few. I sometimes miss having a manual, and simpler cars without all the tech. But I don’t want to go backwards and I don’t want a manual 100% of the time. I’d love to have the Supra and something like a Lotus Elise as a side car.
The Supra is not built at a Toyota plant, nor does it use Toyota parts. But to your point it’s no different for BmW or MegnaSteyr who builds the car in Austria. Toyota would love it If they could build more Supras right now. Even with markups they are selling.
They might for the MKVI.
Ironically I’m watching Pack vs Cards and there is a Toyota commercial with a Yellow Supra…. Toyota must be very unhappy…
You do realize the MK5 has been having record sales and in just a few years already surpassed the entire MKIV generation? My local Toyota dealer says they would take every single 3.0 MK5 Toyota will give thembecause they sell quickly and there’s nice profit margins.
Nothing personal OP, but this makes zero sense. The entire car is made using BMW parts. The MK5 is having record sales. If Toyota was that unhappy with the partnership they would end it and kill off the MK5.
Right and I would love for someone to tell me how a manufacturer is liable for fixing a brake/safety issue on a car because you put an aftermarket tune on it. The responsibility is on the owner, if you tune your car your car you should just avoid the dealer knowing there is a recall for a...
We have like the exact same build. Except I’m Turbulence Grey. 13/15 Burger spacers, ZL1 rock guards, Z4 springs just arrived, AMS downpipe on the way. I did add a carbon fiber rear spoiler as I also have the OEM carbon fiber mirror caps.
