Just purchased mine on Friday and I got the "navigation screen of death". Sales guy said the Supra tech will be on vacation until next and at that time, they can do the activation. Will try another dealer first.......
Pretty funny actually....
Update:
Purchased a 2.0 Surpa this past Friday......Stinger, not..........even...........close!! Nothing against the Stinger. Still like the car a lot and will surely miss the roominess of the car, especially, the rear hatch area......
I did it today on the drive home from work and at 75mph, I could hear the satellite radio pretty good. Honestly, it looks a little "quirky" with the one window 1.5ins from fully closed but I tried it and it worked for me.
The part itself looks good but...........My vehicle has the CF mirror caps and although this might be a "future' option, the problem for "me" is that the CF pattern on the parts are going in a totally different direction than the one on my mirrors. Unfortunately, you can't re-position the part...
Exactly....what he said....
None taken....
I know this is not a good comparison, but have you heard a stock Suzuki 'busa?? Sounds like "Mary Poppins" until you open that thing up and watch it disappear....
Just purchased a 2.0 W/safety and tech package for $45K. Also came with CF mirror caps. Car is a HOOT!!!!! Don't have access to any tracks and don't have a truck/trailor for towing so didn't think there was a need to spend the extra $$$$$$ for the extra HP. This car is "light" on it's feet...
sharing and learning things like this is one of the reasons for joining the forum. Watched very carefully before pulling the plug...now that I have an actual "Supra"........the info has meaning......
Don't know about everyone else but if it is raining, the add-on fixes are not going to be worth...
that does look good and fairly un-noticable. In the future, may consider something in CF but for now, I am satisfied with what I am doing.
thanks for the pic....
Thought about that until I did this little experiment.......got the Carbon fiber mirror caps and don't want to add a damn thing to it..........not even the $150.00 options.
but thanks for the reminder.
So, this resolution may not agree with all, but for me, it worked like a charm even at 85 MPH..... basically, I lowered the driver's side window all the way down, and lowered the passenger side down about 1 - 1.5 ins from fully closed (your measurements may vary). No wind buffeting!!!!! just...
As a jb4 user, only thing I would add is if you are going to go the E85 route, might want to invest in a tester as well.....not all E85 pumps are created equal and if the bad stuff gets in, engine will run crappy until the fuel has emptied. Extreme case, could be damage to fuel system. Have...
I use the jb4 as well on my Stinger and anything above map 2 calls for 93 'bare minimum" but higher is recommended. Since you don't have E85 available, not using an Octane booster would put you at "recommended" map 2 due to 91 octane only.
I give thumbs up to the RP brand as well........BUT if you were to pull a plug or two, you will notice that same residue on them. Even though no harm done and think the RP is pretty good, I give the plugs a break every 2 - 3 tanks with straight gas. May have to keep the jb4 at map 2 but you...
YEP......
Just told another member about a 3.0 Premium at one of the local dealers for 51K. That was couple days ago.........................................today it's GONE!!!!!
I just came back from that dealer and they handed me the keys to a black 2.0 for test drive on hywy. AWESOME CAR!!!! Anyway, talked about the 3.0 as well and probably could have gotten them where I wanted but they wanted more down than I was willing to take from my bank account.
Wasn't for...
Kind of late to this party but you could have beaten that deal in Lex., KY. no too far of a drive vs flying to NY. Just one example but I know this one can be gotten for lower...

Tried this feature on the JB4 and I must say, it was a little "quirky". I tend to agree on the "usefulness' of this.........
Since Turbo cars tend to have some level of lag at low RPM's, it is not so much pedal response as it is Turbo response. To test this, switch to 'manual" and use the...
Took the words out of this potential "future" owner's mouth.......going to sit pat and see how this thing plays out while in the meantime, add a little more to the "down payment" kitty. At this rate, by the time issues have a resolution, I may be able to pay CASH!!!!!;)
Although, "sereph102889"...
Back in the day, there was no real "mindset" of 0-60/ 1/4 mile times.....we just loved the idea of changing gears regardless of the car. even the most basic vehicle was much more enjoyable when changing the gears manually. Do the paddle shifters produce any of this affect???: maybe a little as I...
Check a couple days a week at local dealers and right now, only discounts are on 2.0's. I guess they need to move these things as many have been on the lots for as long as 200 days!!! One I test drove was at around 150 days......
Only speaking for my area but I don't expect much in the discount...
