Like @Rensuhlo said, its a bit of a subjective statement but from my experience with 10kF/14kR on FA510s it was perfectly fine as a daily. Also depends on the damping you set. Something to note, from what ive read and heard on various other platforms the difference between FA500s and FA510s is...
Hey OP,
I just was checking my car and had an identical finding. My car is stock power, pretty close to stock ride height, and gets tracked ~10 times a year with 15min sessions. Im also at 30k mi currently. I tried checking to see if there were any tears and the clip itself seems tight. Did you...
Alright, time for an update!
Now that im running more aero and such, ive upped my spring rates to 14kF/20kR (divorced).
So far the car responded extremely well to the stiffer springs and im now able to set my dampers much closer to the middle of the adjustment range (12 clicks, 24 total)...
Oh Hai, another option for hood vents (even if you have the verus or 777 one cause it'll cover the hole)
Made from 2.5mm thick aluminum that conforms to the hood and doesnt warp ? the one I have on my car is a test part and rattle canned satin black. But ill be powdercoating the rest.
Thanks...
I could design one, albeit I need to work on a few designs for other people at the moment. Id probably charge $8-10 for the file. Keep in mind yeah the price o the file might be sorta high but there's typically a lot of time modelling, measuring, testing, re-testing, etc.
If you give me the...
Mine (and my redesign) was done purely for function and cause I hated how small the verus one is.
Not to mention you benefit in more ways than just cooling, it will also generate more front downforce. Especially if a wicker is added at the leading edge. Seeing as the only effective cooling...
This is something I have to remind myself here and there. "Remember, this is supposed to be fun and engaging. Many people would kill to do this, so take any opportunity you can to enjoy, learn, and build a skill"
...then the instinct to gap all corvettes rears its hear ?
Umm, while that would be cool in theory I really dont see the benefit.
There would be no way to seal it from water and such if thats what you're worried about. If thats the case just use the engine cover during normal driving. It just runs off the sides. That's what ive done for over a year...
There's nothing inherently wrong although, it makes it harder to install cause the holes have to be exact. With bolts there's a but more forgiveness if you have to ovalize a hole. That and I wanted to use washers to help distribute load. But yeah rivets work fine!
While I sympathize with you (scraped the lower rocker panel when exiting a garage....long story), its small enough that I personally would just sit on for a bit and you'll forget it soon enough. Either that or just not care. Just not worth the multiple hundreds of dollars to get it fixed...
