Beautiful car and GLWS - my comment has nothing to do with your car.
Wait a sec - the passenger armrest is black, but the driver’s side is tan?
What was Toyota thinking?
Jesus, it’s my car only much lower mileage and $$$ in PPF.
Absolutely dripping with gorgeousness, and a super fair price in this market. I feel your pain about being in an epic city but losing ease of car ownership. GLWS!!
Pssst: it’s an Internet fact that black Supras get cherry-picked...
My take is that - for a modern car - the Supra communicates very well. Like many of you, I enjoy nibbling away at the limits (the car’s and mine!), and the Supra has never surprised me with its handling dynamics.
Is the steering constantly chattering away like an old skool car with hydraulic...
Like many of us, I too, came from a modded 86 (Jackson Racing SC) that was a lot of fun, but no where near the overall class of the Supra. Out of the box, the Supra is an amazing platform. And - for the record - I whipped my 86 at HPDE, AX, and street at many levels of mod from stock to header +...
Sadly, I got a puncture and had to get what was available on short notice. Discount Tire was able to get the standard PS4S for me in a couple of days, but the star specs were showing the rears as being “discontinued”. The employee suspected it was a mistake, but I had to make a choice of waiting...
I noticed some of the station art missing too when I drove the car on Friday. Haven’t driven it since then, but I suspect it’s a temporary glitch they’ll fix.
Started my car with a tire pressure warning. Driver’s rear was at 8 psi. Found a huge construction screw in the tire. Fortunately, the car goes in for 4 new PS4S on Tuesday anyway.
I’m super happy with my Cuscos. I primarily push the car in autocross with a little HPDE, but with stock dampers and F+R Cuscos I’ve been very happy with the car’s balance and never wished I could make an adjustment. I’d rather improve my driving technique than mess around with my roll bars...
0w20 is used to eek out every last drop of potential MPG. I can literally feel and hear the difference revving the car out on that oily water versus 5w30. The engine is much smoother and happier. Your mileage may vary, however. Ha.
5w30 on my 2021 has been awesome. 0 oil consumption, including a (rather fast…) trip from PDX to SFO and back and multiple autocross events between oil changes.
