well, it's all relative right? A lot of people want LHD TTs and supply and demand tells us that when demand reaches a high enough level, price will follow.
the JDM cars are only inflated because those who can't acquire LHD (most) buy RHD, but there still aren't a ton of RHD cars readily available stateside. I think RHD prices in general should drop however as more of them come into the country after hitting 25.
that said, I don't see LHD prices...
I've always disliked when companies don't differentiate enough between products...
Not sure if anyone here follows or uses Garmin products, but their watches are an absolute convoluted mess in this regard. Pay $25 more for this feature but lose this other one, or pay $50 for this other watch...
I agree entirely with your synopsis of likely marketing/sales moves. But yeah, the tough part is that the I6 auto car is damn good... In order for the 4cyl to make any sense, it would need to be at the very least $10k less and manual as said IMO. Still pretty pricey for what you're getting, and...
As much as I'd like to agree, I dislike the boxer engines in general (aside from when Porsche does them) and realize the futility of trying to convince anyone of anything.
It feels a bit more agile in quick corner to corner driving where the weight is shifting back and forth and on turn in, but otherwise feels very similar as one might expect.
And while it's not gutless by any means it does feel like it could use more power. The car is still over 3k lbs with only...
Well, the GR is stylized correctly on the silver ones (there is no font outline on the official logo as the color of the letters provides the contrast).
I'd also flip those decals to where each faces outwards to that the occupant entering the cabin can read them naturally from left to right.
price is rarely an issue for me on anything of this nature (retune included), but flexibility is a good point. either way, I like to reward those that push the boundaries :)
might be sort of a moot point though because apparently there is an ecu lock now that requires a bench flash to undo...
That's when you get every middle aged woman ever.
When I'm in then US, I see tons of women driving Toyota 86, Miatas, 370Z, and 4cyl/v6 mustangs lol.
Nissan s13 and 14 were also very popular with women, specifically the 14 iirc.
Ah another man of culture (TMC for me). And yeah, Akio definitely didn't care for the old guard especially when he was coming up through the ranks. Technocraft (TRD JP), TOM's, SARD, and some others in the old guard definitely felt the full brunt of this as a result. I think they have managed to...
probably not... they shifted from the cheap FR ideology to just making sporty FF hot hatches, and I agree with that from a business perspective.
I mean there's the Honda S660 in Japan, and it's awesome, but that's just sort of an odd segment in general.
^ probably so, but I'm not well versed in sales, let alone BMW unit sales. I would imagine the 6cyl Supra far outsells a 4cyl due the target audience if nothing else (guys with jean shorts and generic white tennis shoes lol).
Eghh, the GR thing is honestly a convoluted mess, but you take the...
Great question, but I dont have the answer. The US guys were pretty staunchly against the 4 cylinder even earlier this year, but maybe Z4 sales (as referenced above) made a strong enough business case to force their hand.
They certainly weren't successful in keeping the GR branding out of the...
