I just ordered a set and wanted to verify everything. The kit now comes with all the appropriate fasteners? Or do you recommend getting a different set to secure it better?
Yeah, simply mount your other wheels on, hit the reset button, and drive off. I have two set of wheels that I change back and forth. One set for daily and another set for performance stuff. Makes it super easy!
I would say the reduction is about 90%. I've been driving around alot lately with the windows down, even on the highways and don't have any issues. I think there are times when my ears are playing tricks on me and I have flashbacks to the buffeting sound but realize that it is just a cross...
Yeah, I was totally disappointed to see the shifter in here. Very boxy and bulky, while the rest of the car is supposed to be sleek and curvy. However, I do like the look of this one, Kind of looks like a Cobra sticking its head out of a basket and leaning over to strike.
I think if we could...
Looks good but there is a subtle difference in the two pictures. The first picture has two spoilers attached and I think that is the look! Definitely brings the back end to life.
The car will know that it has new sensors and will ask you to reset them. You simply push the iDrive Touch Controller and then drive off. It will calibrate quickly in about a mile or two.
It will even detect if you've changed tire size or wheels. In my case, I had changed wheels and put...
After weeks of waiting for delivery from Japan, I finally had these put on. Of course, it's raining here today but here's a sneak peak. I will try to get some other pics posted up soon.

I just went through this predicament this morning. All you're gonna fit in the truck is one wheel without the tire on it. You could fit on tire/wheel in the passenger seat and that's about it. I ended up using another car to transport everything.
I just got some new wheels installed today and was gonna cruise around CLT tomorrow and find some spots to do a quick photo shoot. I will probably get started in the morning about 10am. PM me if you're interested in meeting up, would be cool to have some fellow cars in the pics. Or if you...
If anyone is looking for some TPMS sensors, I just had these installed and they work like a charm. Car will re-calibrate and will read all the data with no issues (Pressure & Temps). Was able to find them on ebay for $90 for a complete set of (4).
NOTE: These were installed on Gram Lights...
Thought I would start a discussion on EQ Settings. I already know that this is 99.9% subjective to your ears and music type, so its whatever suits you best, but there might be some good info that we can still share.
Here are my settings so far:
Turn Off ASD (Active Sound Design) via...
@tadda, That's exactly the setup I have been using for a few weeks. It works just fine at cutting down the wind noise. And it actually blends in pretty nice. I don't even see them when I'm walking up to the car or looking at it. I got them off Amazon for $5 for a pack (one pack has 4 of them...
I'm thinking I want to try what you did plus I'm also interested in seeing how a low pass filter will work with the system. I feel it's not getting a clean enough signal for my liking. I found these 80hz 8-Ohm Filters and think they might help give me what I'm looking for...
Excellent work tadda! The open ports were an excellent idea to decrease the exhaust pressure being trapped in the chamber. The foam also has a nice OE look to it and blends in great! I put my car back together already and wished that I hadn't because I still want to mess around with it...
You can use Veepeak OBD2. It's much cheaper and works just fine. I originally used that one and sold it under the impression that I would be able to do more options with the OBDLink MX+. But they both work exactly the same. Cost me an extra $70 to find that out, so save yourself a few bucks...
I was curious about the Alpina Display but chickened out because I didn't want to screw something up and not have it revert back to normal. I believe this is what it looks like.
