  1. RE-71RS vs Cup2 Connect

I run the RE-71RS (on 18 inch wheels though but shouldn't be an issue on 19) and they are an amazing track tire. Running them at stock sizes on stock wheels is fine. Both 255/35R19 and 275/35R19 are available which match OEM specs. You could go to 285 on the rear if you wanted, no spacer needed...
  2. What did you do to your Supra today?

I don't know how to describe it. Tuxmat says it's top layer is vinyl. It's kind of like a soft rubber to me. They're hard enough that I can easily take a wet brush or cloth to them to clean and they don't soak. Weathertech in comparison are super are plasticky and got brittle.
  3. What did you do to your Supra today?

Tuxmat. Way better coverage and look so much nicer. I replaced my 1.5 year old Weathertech's a few weeks ago.
  4. What did you do to your Supra today?

Tow hitch installed and seems really secure. Should be great for bringing tires and tools to the track. Took a little trial and error on fitment but went about as well as I hoped. I went with a CURT 19101 hitch and drilled holes in the rear impact bar to mount it. Used some threadlocker on the...
  5. What did you do to your Supra today?

Alright so I finally got around to test fitting the hitch and the dimensions of the impact bar are perfect for it to fit around. The problem is the clearance above the bar with it mounted. It sits too high on top and the bumper doesn't go down far enough. I was hoping to not have to do this but...
  6. Interior Rattles

I have the exact same rattle. It's mainly when I'm on roads that aren't nice and smooth. Sometimes I try to open and close the glovebox and sometimes it helps but other times it doesn't. I kind of wonder if it's the latch mechanism that clicks into place and needs to be greased but I rarely have...
  7. About Supra wheel size

    I'm stock
  8. What did you do to your Supra today?

In the off chance someone knows or has their rear bumper off, would love it if someone could share the height and depth dimensions of it that the red lines mark. I've been running a million ideas in my head about how to easily get a tow hitch on this thing to carry around some tires and an RV...
  9. About Supra wheel size

Titan 7's 10.7+38 with a 15mm spacer on front works which is an effective 10.7+23 so it'll probably fit. Rears are fine.
  10. How to purchase/allocate money for Supra

I don't know but I'm pretty sure the answer is no. Dealers in general are more willing to sell to people who are willing to make things easier for them, so being able to come on site shortly after it arrives to take care of paperwork and drive it off yourself is going to make you more of a...
  11. Ceramic coating PPF

I have no swirls on it or microscratches that I can tell so I assume it's working or is resilient enough that it didn't need to self-heal. It's always been immaculate besides chips and chunks that have happened due to rocks on the highway, debris on the track, other idiots scraping the ppf deep...
  12. How to purchase/allocate money for Supra

I searched your post history and see you're in the southeast and posted in the no dealer markup thread. Contact Warren Cox at Beaman toyota: [email protected] or 270-217-4930 and you can get on the list with no deposit at MSRP. You can let him know that his local black supra guy...
  13. Ceramic coating PPF

Also if I do get home with it wet and I'm not lazy then it makes for a really easy leaf blower session to dry it off and a quick wipe down.
  14. Ceramic coating PPF

I've got Kavaca. Overall happy with it, seems to be better than the Suma Performance ceramic that I bought. I'd say it's worth it for $40 and the ease of application. I applied the Adam's Graphene around early Feb and here's a pic I just took a few mins ago. It rained heavy today for an hour or...
  15. Ceramic coating PPF

I've used Adams graphene ceramic on my PPF and it's important to not let it sit too long and to wipe and buff as you go in small patches otherwise it's going to set and leave wipe looking marks. My main culprit areas are the hood and rear windshield since they are larger surface areas. I should...
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

The key don't is don't do it on public roads. But the short of it is the beginning point to performance braking is only brake in a straight line and stand on your brakes to ABS until you're ready to release and turn. Since you're not track experienced the easiest thing to do is make sure...
  17. Uniden R7 Radar Detector For Sale

I'm a cheapo so if you get tired of waiting and drop the price any further then hit me up.
  18. Time for a new helmet. Suggestions?

If you go with G-force shoot me a DM, I have one of their "buy a new supra and get ~25% off" coupons I can provide you.
  19. What did you do to your Supra today?

Thanks for the offer, I probably won't be in that area much. Might head down that way again in December with NASA.
