If any updates include major components like; motor, trans, driveline, etc... expect a huge bump in price...which Toyota is not wanting or needing in the current economy crisis. I mentioned this months ago, that the updates would be small changes here and there (aero, interior trim, wheels...
A few misleading things here...
I don't beleive the next gen will be all-electric. Hybrid is a possibility and most likely option...but from what I know, gas is the only info I am aware of. The same thing happened with the Tacoma, they released an all-EV teaser, and it eneded up gas and...
Here in AZ, the new C8 Vette is becoming the Dodge Challenger/Charger....you see one at almost every intersection. Since the MKV Supra has been out, I have seen (and ive kept count) 6 MKV Supra's and that's including my brothers car. Big difference in rarity on the roads....at least here in AZ...
Exactly, like Ford did with the "Lightning" and "Mach-E." Best thing to do (honestly) is find a good condition used ICE car (specialty car) and work on restoring it to like new or build it up. Plenty of Camaro's, Mustang's, Challenger's, Corvette's, etc... that are in excellent condition that...
We have enough oil to last us a few centuries….it’s true. As a matter of fact, we (US) have so much, that before 2020 we were not only meeting demand domestically but we were selling to other countries with no sign of shortage in sight. Can’t say that about batteries! This whole EV movement...
Dealers are to blame for hiring these 6 month old trained techs. They phased out their master techs who were experts at their jobs, and brought in these youngsters who don't even know how to put on wheels right. Oh well, it's a good thing I wrench on my cars myself.
I should be getting more info on the underbody brace soon. I want to know more about this, because it might be the catalyst for a convertible or targa offering.
I guess “bloated” is what everyone wants…lol. Being “bloated” has never been so profitable or sought after. It’s what’s in the inside not on the outside that matters.
Yes, but the demographics was very different in the 90’s. You rarely saw 20yr olds or mid 30yr olds buying them new….most deep pocket buyers (upper 30’s and older) were looking at European offerings and domestic nameplates. The demographics is very different nowadays, and those with money are...
Well, again....if what all the rumors and reputable source info is true that the "GT3/LFR" and "A100 Supra" will share similar underpinnings, then from a financial standpoint the "A100 Supra" cannot be cheap (too far below six figures). Remember, the A80 was in the 90's a $50k sports...
We won't be at full EV's sales by 2030....that is wishful thinking. I will remind this forum in 6 1/2 years. Nuclear power doesn't mean we will be able to support the spike in EV recharging, we can already made enough power....the issue is the power delivery. Our infrastructure is old as shit...
Great things coming folks….sit back and enjoy the ride!
Not exactly sure what this is, but looks alot like that GT3….but not really. Prototypes for drivetrain testing? :dunno:
Btw, anyone notice the interesting ornament hanging on the wall?
