  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

hi it's me edit: i do worry a bit about coding these things out. if you plug in the modules/resistor, you know the airbag logic remains what it was from the oem. coding something out changes the code path and it's then a guessing game on whether the logic remains the same, or falls back to...
  2. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

should be 1.8ohm, ordered a bunch, that looks like the one I didn’t return. plug into the chassis side airbag plug
  3. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Resistor fixes the airbag light, plugging in the stock seat controller fixes the restraint warning. No coding needed
  4. JRZ vs MCS vs KW vs Ohlins coilovers

tell Martin at AR I sent you, he’ll be happy to chat on setup recommendations. can be hard to get a hold of on race weeks though.
  5. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

yes, that is my question, where is air coming from since it's sealed off
  6. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

our heat exchangers are ducted, the high pressure zone is segregated from that section of the inner bumper space.
  7. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

Thanks, yeah i see the square opening to the airbox, but still unsure how exterior air even gets there
  8. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

@Booztin do you know how the stock intake is getting fed? Is it through the lower passenger side rad? Or just the headlight gaps
  9. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

likely another Type R, aiming for GT4 laptimes. building a gt3 rs killer on stock power was too easy, want a project that will take a bit more aero design and optimization. according to catalyst the existing build is the fastest this year.
  10. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

ah thanks, different in desktop vs mobile client, very cool find. hope it shows up on discount tire as well for the 5% .mil discount
  11. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

mind linking to the tirerack page please? i couldn't seem to find them. also if you're interested in a fully sorted track build...will probably put mine up for sale in the spring
  12. Speed Engineering | Cold Air Intake Duct - Group Buy

Your intake doesn’t flow enough air to make a dent in the high pressure zone, especially at speed when the intake is pressurized already. Notice you already have 2 giant holes for brake cooling next to the center rad, which isn’t nearly as pressurized as your intake
  13. Bad Experience with triple seven performance.

you guys should all order their gt4 hood vent though
  14. Performance traction control *New product*

does this work for folks who are not tuned? can you toggle between stock TCS modes and this?
  15. Optimizing Supra Headroom

My recommendation, and option I would have taken before bolting buckets straight to the floor, is the remove the headliner, and just cover the stock roof with headliner fabric. That gets you at least another inch.
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

777performance hood vent, better than the gt500 setup I was running
  17. Time for a new helmet. Suggestions?

Check out stable energies next time you’re in NJ, they have a ton of SA helmets. HJC H-10 works great for me, just use an ice cream spoon to push in the foam at hot spots. they can fit you for a Simpson hybrid s as well there.
  18. Several HPDEs in, looking into mild track upgrades

what i found as the biggest driver of growth was to pick a rival who's a reach in terms of skills/car specs, figuring out what they're doing really well, and trying to surpass them. i've actually met one of my personal heroes/targets on track this past weekend, in a verus packaged 991.2 RS (#1...
  19. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

funny enough, HOD in june was how i hit 57.9 last time as well, just much slower:
