kirkland signature racing team has never damaged any of my wheels over the last 7-8 sets of tires they've installed for me. ymmv if you're not an executive member
the way to do it on the supra is to treat it as an 80% preformed deflector, and to use a heatgun to reform it for clearance vs cutting material. i no longer have photos of mine but it took minimum trimming.
f series bmws have been using the plastic oil pump adjustment rings forever, including in the m cars. on the supra there are 3 versions:
plastic ring, plastic vacuum cover (mahle)
plastic ring, metal vacuum cover (omp)
metal ring, metal vacuum cover (omp)
the middle one is the one with issues
rips off the caster arm bolt in a small overlap crash, and avoid the wheel/rotor intruding into the cabin by letting it rotate
eu cars don't have it, note the ncap crash vs US iihs above
if it's just autocross with no light poles/other cars i might be willing to use this:

none of the holes for this part are special, it's a simple 30 min design to reproduce the oem part
it's $400 from a toyota dealer, comes vin coded to the car, but needs to be registered (takes 5 seconds). about a month before it's ready. you can't use key fobs from other cars.
ordered via the phone, picked up in person with license and registration as proof of ownership.

Yup, everyone who had NVH issues with the power flex inserts generally made the mistake of using the top mounts unmodified.
By only stiffening the bottom, the oem fluidlastic damper is still able to trim high frequency vibrations. Just ignore the other guy. Treat these as bump stops
