As a GT car, I feel it should have a certain level of amenities, especially at this price point. I personally would consider remote start capability a given for these reasons, in addition to seat cooling and a heated steering wheel. This ain't no Maybach 62, but it's certainly not a base Camry.
There was a video review done by Savage Geese on the '20 and they said the level of undercoating was crazy, not only for corrosion resistance but also for its NVH properties.
I have a feeling it'll happen. The question we should be asking is why wouldn't they? The testing and engineering was done years ago. They know damn well they'll sell every one they build, so why not use it as a production run-ending swan song? They could easily command a premium, and they'll...
I'm not seeing it either. Regardless of trans options, I've made my choice. I've owned several manuals in the past, so if/when they die off completely, I can still say I did my part.
I haven't gotten the recall done yet, but man, I hope that's not all placebo because that's great news. And I really don't wanna get stuck with a torched head unit like some folks have experienced.
Not a chance in hell. Aside from all the legal contracts with BMW and Magna Steyr, think of the logistics of moving all the tooling from Austria to Japan, assuming they had space. That would be an obscene amount of cost for a low volume car.
