That would be awesome. No idea why they would put such a pedestrian steering wheel in such an exciting car. Ffs, the wheel is the one thing you interact with the most!
Just got mine installed and was super easy as well. I tried an alternate method for keeping the spacers in place while starting the threads: A piece of 1" painter's tape. Punch a small hole near one end of tape about 3-4 inches long and push the mounting bolts through. Then, on the other end...
Yep, I also had a manual '09, Monterey blue with the sport package. First and only car I've ever ordered from the factory and had to wait 6 months(!) Now that I have my Supra, I think about it even less.
Anyone who complains that it's all BMW underneath; last time I checked, the M2 is a pretty capable car. And who gives a shit where a car comes from if it's a great car? Toyota says it's a Toyota, end of story. I'm perfectly ok living rent-free in their heads while I drive the hell out of an...
Tbh, I didn't push them very hard as I was in my break-in period when I had them on, but for normal driving, they were excellent. Sidewalls are pretty stiff, so I'd imagine they would do pretty well in the corners. Overall a little quieter than the super sports, but they also made a slight...
Had a very similar issue because it was not recognized as a Toyota because of the Euro vin. Dealership made a call to whomever does the titles and it was all straightened out quickly.
I made the exact same mistake. There are 7 Allen bolts in the kit and 2 of them are for the sensor, while the other 5 are for the intake box top. The instructions for the v2 made no mention of this iirc. Since it's just for intake temp, it's probably ok, as long as it's mounted solidly.
Shop around. Your credit pull is good for 30 days, iirc, and you should never accept anything but an honest dealership and fair deal, even if only on principle.
