With 400-450 HP, at that weight, it would be really expensive, probably more expensive than thisnew Supra which looks like being USD60k. Not bad, just expensive. I donāt think the rotary engine has a serious future, at least, not as a conventional powertrain. I heard rumours Mazda might be...
Iām glad there is a Z still in production (rather than seeing it discontinued), but cāmon, the lack of significant updates in nearly 10 years does not equal caring about its enthusiasts. Itās pretty obvious both the current Z and GTR are on life support.
If a new Z happens, that is exactly the...
What about the MX-5 RF? If you leave the retractable roof up, you essentially have a coupe. Not quite as good as a fixed roof, it wonāt ever be as stiff, light, or refined, but it is as close as we are likely to get to an MX-5 coupe.
TBH, if I didnāt need the extra cargo space with the rear...
Honestly, Iād be more excited to see confirmation of a next gen 86/BRZ with that 2.4L boxer putting out 260HP, than the turbo 4 Supra that is apparently the entry level version. But the presence of a 20i 4T Supra is what worries me for the future of 86. The 20i engined Supra would be putting out...
Whatās the latest on the Z35? The post from Carmaker1 back in April suggested the Renault-Nissan board cancelled the Z35 back in January. You would think, if Nissan had changed their mind and proceeded with a Z35, weād have seen spy shots, mules, concepts at auto shows by now. So far, nothing...
Curious to find folks still suggesting as recently as last month that the Z35 will happen. According to āCarmaker1ā:
āin January 2018 the Renault-Nissan board scrapped the Z35 programme altogether and will NOT be redesigning it after the current Z34 Fairlady Z/370Z ends at 11-12 years in...
Sadly, I think the Z will die after the current Z34 (370Z). All indications so far from Nissan execs has been negative and non-commital.

Amazing performance specs. I doubt it will handle as well as the current crop of supercars, as even with a super low CoG thanks to the battery pack, it can't hide its full weight. But the acceleration out of corners and on the straights will be brutal and makes up plenty of time. Great looking...
Hey all. Just posting here to say hi, as there does not seem to be a new members sub-forum.
I'm a current Toyota 86 owner here in Australia. Keenly following the development of the new Supra since the FT-1 concept. If the new car is right, and I can afford it, the new Supra might just be my...
