Just mounted Nitto NT05 275 40 18. able to get $220 a pop. waiting for weather to get better to check it out.. perhaps next year..? :D oh.. only 20 min. left.
So, I've been testing few things around and I hope this will be interesting.
Cars you can use - obviously, Toyota GR Supra RZ '19 (pp 535.14) or '20 (pp 545.45)
PP limit : 635 ( '19 has more pp room to play with)
Power limit : 440 HP (enough to be interesting)
minimum weight : 3,000 lbs
Usable...
Yes. that's what i was thinking. I can publish rules and venue but please let me know what day and time will work? like Monday 9 PM EST? Once all is set, I will send out message to those who are interested.
anyone interested in having a race together in the lobby? perhaps all GR Supra & pp limited. thinking pp is limited just enough to have some modifications anyway driver wants so it will be interesting to see what everyone else is doing for particular track.
brake fluid is hydrophilic - attracts water - and gets contaminated by just sitting in brake system. probably much lesser than when driven but it still gets contaminated. It is better to replace it every other year if car is not driven as much. It looks like supra's change duration is set...
we had many students and not a single one had bad time as far as I know. if you are advanced, all you have to do is email / talk to local NASA chapter organizer or call toyota to change group. for more info, see my sig in the bottom.
here's a link from rockauto.com for brake sensor. make sure it matches your year and model.

as for OEM brake pads, you might want to post a WTB thread in here...
it is stock except anti-roll bar. only other thing that may have contributed change is, 5mm spacer and the tire, 285 35 18. this changes OD of the tire, hence height as well. you may noticed my front toe is 0 which will make the car, "direction change happy". may not be suitable for street...
Absolutely used by many race cars but they do replace it periodically. some of them even every race if not every sessions in between. Even in installation manual of APEX wheel stud, it states that it should be replaced periodically. However, I do not know if other manufacturer states that but...
Like I said, feathering may not necessarily caused by alignment. it could be driving habit as well as condition of rubber. for example, I had a brand new all weather tire on my BMW and after 1 session on the track, it was feathered like crazy. that I still have on my bmw even after 3 years...
it is not conclusive that feathering is caused by alignment although it is possible. on the topic of not being able to change front camber independently is true however, geometry of suspension, camber, toe, & caster are inter-related. meaning, you can change camber by adjusting toe. on a...
Typically, spacer itself is not an issue. However, because your bolt/stud is extended, there are more force applied. Hence, these bolts/studs should be replaced periodically. Also, because it's on higher load, if one fails the other will fails much faster.
In 2022, I saw a BMW M3 with 10 mm...
As many of you know, mine was wrapped it myself soon after i retrieved it from dealer and I have not had any issues. One thing you want to make sure of with these sensors, you cannot have any air bubble or moisture between the sensor and wrap. also, in addition, thickness of the wrap may...
