Only possible /w camber plate. without camber plate, stock camber is about -1.8 in front when toe is at 0. in addition, changing toe reflects camber. so general rule of thumb is, change toe before camber.
Also, alignment is more of a preference that's depend on your driving style as other...
I agree with what @SD_MK said. Compressor is only needed for removing front stock spring and it is much safer to use it than without. you could ask around if anyone has it near your area to borrow or buy a cheap one from harbor freight.
i haven't used CSG nor i know anything about it but reading from your post; C11 is more aggressive than CP, this would make the car more rear bias. - explained in my earlier post in this thread. and this set up will suit the way Jackie drive his car and I'd prefer to set up such way for my...
On topic of saving brake & Gas, as you may know, I'm a NASA NE instructor leading GR program in my region also fueled by having a supra since '20. Like you, I'm assigned to a Supra or GR86 driver all the time. And in a way it's good that I can actually show my students what car is capable as...
though there are many ways to control brake bias, I only know 2 ways.
1. install brake bias controller. As I understand, this controls pressure between front & rear brake circuit to to control which set of brake will apply more pressure than the other and how much.
2. use different compound...
I don't really care too much about which transmission. as long as it has wheels, engine, and ways to control, I will have fun. However i do have an opinion on thought that AT is faster than MT on track. which is faster is purely on who is driving rather than equipment. However, Automatically...
as others have said, HPDE is not considered "competitive" driving nor racing because of following reasons.
- no award or recognition is given.
- no time is measured.
because time is measured during autocross session, autocross is classified as competitive driving. you may also say you measure...
I run 5mm spacers front and back.
I had 285 35 18 and I had same issue. just needed 5mm to clear it in front. just to compensate widened front, added 5 mm's to back as well.
Running on track with the setup isn't issue at all. however, consider using longer lug bolts or adding stud kit.
hi. with 5mm, stock bolt was at borderline and wanted to replace it with slightly longer one. later, I opted to APEX stud kit. it came with everything you need including thread locker. Also, the lug nuts were much lighter than expected.
Sorry about late update.
I've been suffering from covid and finally getting better just a bit. hence, I cannot host this unless someone else can.. i also noticed that, no one PM'd me their ID so I can invite to the event..
i didn't read the article but from reading replies, here's my thought.
People in most countries I visited including France, Japan, Korea, Spain, Israel, Canada, & ETC. their perspective on car is more of luxury item and not a necessary object to survive. Most consumer (car) in US needs a...
