I did not cut them. There where no new bump stops included in the kit, so I take that as new bump stops or modifying the old one's are not needed if the drop is only 0.8" inch.
Pining for the fjords eh? ;) I live in the south-eastern parts of Norway, where everything is flat, flat and flat...
Installed Eibach Euro 0.8" / 20mm springs and 11/13mm spacers today.
Now I just need to drive the car for a couple of days to make the springs seat properly and then get an alignment.
I haven't tested it on the road yet, as the car stills stands on the quickjack. But I did start it up just to test, and I found the sound to be a bit deeper than normal, but not much louder.
I have a Milltek OPF delete pipe and a Wagner cat-less downpipe waiting to be fitted at a later date...
Fitted axle-back system from Milltek today. Quite a popular brand here in Europe and one of few manufacturers that delivers their exhaust systems with EC/TĂśV documents. Which I absolutely need in order to make the car road-legal.
I am not running this lip myself, but I'm highly considering gettingboth the lip and sideskirts.
Max Orido himself has a YT video that shows the whole process of installing the complete kit.
imo, the Max Orido front lip is the most OEM looking one:

This video shows it off pretty good
Did you bench unlock your DME before trying to upload BM3 firmware?
I've heard that trying to flash a locked DME can cause some issues.
Did you remove the opf/gfp sensor tube when fitting the downpipe? Cause that will result in limp mode.
Apparently, by disabling the GPF/OPF function using BMW ISTA P, will bring back all the burple/shifting sounds that lacks on the EU version.
But I have not been able to find much information about how to do this and I doubt any car dealer shop thats uses ISTA will allow you to do this at them.
My other funride, a 240SX S14 Kouki (EU Spec) that I have owned since 2005. Still superclean, only got 60k miles. Never driven during winter, so body is rust free.
And my daily, a Nissan Leaf. I get to charge it for free at my workplace, so it's super economically to own.
One of the first thing I did when I got my car. Even with a stock euro exhaust with opf/gpf that produces almost no noise at all, the difference was immense.
I just hated how fake the ASD sounds. Like taken out of a video game.
To my understading, the way to unlocking pre-06/2020 DME's is to use Autotuner and their "OBD Unlock Patch".
Sadly, I'm having the same problem here in my country (Norway). Finding a tuner with experience unlocking DME's.
So I'm looking at taking my car to Germany next year and getting it...
