  1. Eplejus - 2020 A90 Supra 3.0 Premium

Have not spent much on parts this year so far, just an oil change, brake pads/fluid and an Eibach swaybar. Do have some plans for a long roadtrip this summer with this car, but more about that later. I went with Endless MX72 Plus brake pads and Motul RBF660 fluid. These pads produce noticeably...
  2. What did you do to your Supra today?

I even went as far as tightening the lug bolts to the correct torque spec. I’m a monster.
  3. What did you do to your Supra today?

New pads! Hopefully these won't be as dusty as the oem pads. The oem pads are glued to the pistons. I used a putty knife to cut through the glue. The right tools make this job so much easier. I disengaged the e-brake and used this tool to compress the piston. Putting the e-brake in...
  4. What did you do to your Supra today?

Oil change and swaybar install. I’m installing the Euro spec version of the Eibach swaybar. 25mm instead of the 29mm version you US guys use. Even though it’s only 1mm thicker than OEM, it was noticeably heavier. I’d say it’s almost twice the weight heavier than the OEM swaybar. QuickJacks...
  5. Rust in Engine Bay

Seems like its an part of the turbocharger. It's completely normal, extreme temperature cycles causing oxidation. And turbocharges have a high content of iron, which we all know, are very prone to rust.
  6. Supra A90 Rear camber arm

Megan Racing should be more than good enough for a street driven car. Back in the late 2000s, when I was more involved in the drifting community, we used a lot of Megan Racing parts on our Nissan Silvias and BMW E36s, and they held up really well. Those cars saw a lot of abuse, but I can’t...
  7. Supra A90 Rear camber arm

OEM or aftermarket with adjustable camber? If OEM, you can get them cheap from Autodoc. I use them all the time for OEM parts for all my cars, they’re basically the European version of RockAuto. If aftermarket, Verkline has adjustable ones. They ship from Germany or Poland...
  8. Slipping serpentine belt. Broken crank pulley / harmonic damper?

I'm using a belt from Gates. Bought from my local shop. Part number GATES 68378 Goodyear is ĂĄ very reputable brand, at least, here in Europe. It will probably work just fine.
  9. Slipping serpentine belt. Broken crank pulley / harmonic damper?

    1. I got the rebranded Titan Motorsport version. From what I understand, it should be identical to #918573 apart from the logo. https://titanmotorsports.com/products/titan-motorsports-x-ati-performance-a90-b58-engine-damper 2. I got the tip from a workshop that had installed one on a...
  10. EU Spec downpipe ball flange to slip fit adapters - where to buy?

I'm running a Wagner DP connected to a Milltek midpipe, in other words, both have a v-band ball flange. Wagner DP is available with both slip-on and V-band.
  11. EU Spec downpipe ball flange to slip fit adapters - where to buy?

An exhaust shop should easily be able to fabricate an adapter with a ball flange that fits. I think that would be the easiest solution, as I doubt there’s a pre made adapter available that would fit. Most Supra owners here in Europe run exhaust systems like Akrapovic, Remus, Milltek, Garage...
  12. supra bm3 flex fuel kit

Flash the "Multimap" tune and try again. With a flex fuel kit installed, there’s no reason to use any of the other OTS tunes. If it’s still not working after that, you probably messed up the wiring.
  13. Key won’t detect after changing the battery

Check the battery with a voltmeter. CR2032 should be above 3.2V when new. Also check if the metal springs on the key fob is actually in contact with the battery. You might have to bend them out a little.
  14. 2021 Supra 3.0 EU spec with OPF delete pipe

I would say both, they are equal in dampning the sound. If exhaust noises is what you sought after, I can also recommend installing XHP transmission software, in order to enable ignition cut shifting when upshifting. And of course, with any of the flashtunes, you will be able to adjust...
  15. 2021 Supra 3.0 EU spec with OPF delete pipe

A CEL caused by a removed OPF will put the car into limp mode, but a CEL from a catless downpipe won’t, for some strange reason. If you’re planning on getting it tuned anyway, I’d wait and do the exhaust, downpipe, OPF delete and tune all together, that’s what I did.
  16. 2021 Supra 3.0 EU spec with OPF delete pipe

Yes, it will throw a CEL on a stock tune. Two ways around it: Flash with MHD/BM3/Ecutek, etc., and disable the OPF sensor to prevent CEL. Or install an OPF delete harness that fools the OPF sensor so it doesn’t show CEL.
  17. Power supply and OVERHEATING issue

Accessory belt or a broken crankshaft pulley. The ring for the accessory belt is press-fitted onto the pulley, and sometimes it comes loose and starts to spin. Since the belt drives both the alternator and the water pump, it matches the symptoms you’re describing.
  18. @022 GR Supra 2.0 Brake Rotors

Both the 2.0 and 3.0 use the same size rotor hat (172 mm), but from looking at pictures, it seems that the OEM 4-pot calipers on the 3.0 have slightly more clearance to the rotor hat and could accommodate a larger hat size, whereas the 2.0 does not have the available space. Can’t you post some...
  19. Simply racing is a terrible shop

That's Maya Bay in Phi Phi, Thailand. Same place where they filmed "The Beach" I was on vacation there 10 years ago, popular photoshoot spot.
