Well, because these are about $70 cheaper than a set of 4 from Toyota and these are the same ones that aftermarket wheel companies pair with their wheel/tire packages if you purchase from them. These should work, same part number as the ones provided by Toyota and made by the worlds leading TPMS...
Hopefully these work, I just purchased a set of these from Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/254835814706?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649
I ordered a set of the 19 " Staggered wheels in Satin Bronze today. They will be going on an Absolute zero 2021 supra thats lowered on the EU spec Z4 springs, a .8" drop front and rear. Can't wait to get these wheels.
Ordered a set of Apex SM-10 wheels for my Supra. Satin Bronze, 19x9.5 +25 fronts and 19x11 +40 rears. I did have an appointment to get my OEM wheels powder coated next week, but I figured screw it, if I want Satin Bronze wheels I might as well look for aftermarket wheels, and then Apexs popped...
Are you by chance tuned? How long have you had the R888's and are they the primary tires you run on the car? It's possible they could be heat cycled out. When you're launching are you stalling the car by holding the brake down to raise your launch RPM or are you trying to use the factory launch...
You'll probably want to drop tire pressure to like 25lbs, make sure to do a decent burn out, and also make sure to launch in second gear with traction control off.
Not necessarily. Since Ethanol flows faster the more potent the mix, it's possible that your 93 tune is having issues because it's set for 93 octane, which in general is only 10% Ethanol, but since you're currently at an E30 mixture, the car is burning through the fuel faster than it would...
An Ethanol mix tune, be it E30, 40, or E50, will obviously have more ethanol mixed into the fuel which will allow for more knock resistance, which means the Tuner can add more timing and more boost. In your case it sounds similar to the experience I was having, however I only ever saw this issue...
Also, it would be awesome to know the DA. Your 60-130 is, on average, .7 to .9 seconds faster than some of the quickest I've seen, accounting for decent DA that is. To add to this, a reputable tuner that I know of recently clocked a 6.5 second 60-130 on E40 with Meth, but with a Pure 800 turbo...
