Yea that was me, the guys at CES are super nice people, some of the nicest I've ever dealt with when it comes to customer service and making you feel welcome in their shop. They let me go in the shop and watch them install the downpipe if I wanted to, they let me stand next to the car or behind...
Thanks man, yours does as well! The pics of your car at Hilton Head actually pushed me to buy the Maxton Kit. I was originally going to get my OEM wheels Powder coated but I saw these Apex wheels and had to have them.
Hmmm..... I might try doing this to see if I can remove the 3m tape and get it to pull in tighter. So yours had that gap on the sides and sits up directly under/on the OEM side piece? I thought it was supposed to go all the way to the bottom of the bumper.
So to let anyone know, if anyone was interested in my previous post about having bought a set of TPMS Sensors off of Ebay for my new aftermarket wheels, they worked! All I had to do was go into the settings and manually choose "Other tires", I had to take it off the automatic selection the car...
Picked my car up from the body shop, had them install a Maxton designs kit with the V2 front lip, which I think they installed incorrectly and will be taking it back if that ends up being the case, but the side skirts and spats turned out amazing! I also got around to installing my new wheels...
So I dropped my car off at a body shop to have them install my maxton kit with V2 lip. I got the car back today and the Side Skirts and Spats are perfect, but I think something is up with the lip. It has gaps on the outer edges of the front bumper and its sitting up above the bottom of the...
I also have this exact phone holder and there's no way the weight of the phone would cause any kind of stress. Where the phone holder clips in is very very snug once you get it clipped in and the plastic is thick and strong.
Thank you for this information. I recognized the knurled section on the front section of the wheel but didn't notice the knurled section on the back section of the wheel. I informed the shop of the front knurled edge but didn't tell them it was like that on the back side. I'm hoping this was the...
Has anyone had any issues with Michelin PS4S tires not wanting to seal properly at the bead on the Apex SM-10s? My local performance shop got my Nitto 555R2s seated perfectly fine but the PS4S's had a very slow leak from the bead. They ended up having to use Bead Sealer. Does this sound right at...
I've never had any complaints about the brakes on my Supra. I do not track the car so that might have something to do with it, but the brakes have always felt fine to me.
Also tuned through MHD and CES. John was great to work with. First I ran the stage2 93 octane for about 3 to 4 months and now I'm on a custom E40 blend tune and it's nutty. The 93 was fun, but the E40 is stupid quick in comparison.
Hmm, can't say I've ever experienced a shift delay on my MHD tune. Are you leaving it in auto mode or manual shifting? Are you running with traction 1 click off or with traction fully on? This makes a huge difference on the Supra.
Hmm... not sure I would want that tbh. If Toyota started working on a completely different product that means nothing but fresh R&D from start to finish and the final product would be close to GTR costs and that would make it unobtainable for people such as myself. I love this car and I love the...
I've posted before about this problem but my car has done this as well now, probably 4 or 5 times, but it only ever does it after I've swapped tune files either from my 93 map to an E blend, or when I was datalogging to get my Ethanol tune perfected and had to continuously flash new tune...
You tuned? 93 or Ethanol Blend? I just recently purchased two Nitto 555RII's for the rear wheels and should have them mounted up and on the car once my new wheels come in. I've read great things about the 555RII's, several guys with 700whp mustangs and some tuned ZL1's making pretty decent power...
Yea I should have done this. Well hopefully the ones I have purchased from Ebay will work because the seller literally shipped them 2 hours after I purchased them. I will update the forums and let people know for future haha, worse case scenario I can pull me OEM ones from the OE wheels for the...
Even better yet dude, I should have bought the ones that came from the wheel manufacturer.... dude sometimes I don't make the best decisions in the moment lol.
