Woops, retract my previous statement for poor reading skills lol. Yea, if your ECU is that early, the car is able to be tuned. The shop probably doesn't have the knowledge or the software to properly tune one of these cars. Get your money back and take it elsewhere.
The only way a charge pipe could do anything in this situation is if the dude charged your for a meth injection kit to go along with it. This could explain the $1200 price tag that you were quoted, but even then, considering how almost everyone here is 100% sure this shop doesn't know what the...
These are stock numbers. My 2021 made 413whp and 415wtq, and again 412 whp and 422 wtq on a second run. The car had no tune in the first two runs BUT did have a catless DP already installed. Then we moved onto a standard OTS 93 octane map. My best run tuned was 446.25 whp and 526wtq and it was...

Damn! Thats the last time I will underestimate a JB4 and a great tuner! I really didn't know the JB4 could get into the 7.9 range for 60-130s with just a DP and fuel. That's awesome!
That's fast for a JB4. I suppose I had underestimated the JB4s potential when a good custom tune was dialed in. I haven't seen that many JB4 cars on here making this kind of power however.
Where to begin? That dragy slip seems like it could have been cropped xD. Something seems a little off here. 7.9 60-130 seems FAST for an average JB4 car. Actually, I feel like that's faster than some of the E40-E50 MHD, BM3, and Ecutek cars that are just on a downpipe only tune.
Show us a dyno...
I very quickly skimmed over this thread, but if no one else said anything about it, there's a technique to getting the best 60-130 time and it varies depending on the vehicle.
For the Supra
1. Traction needs to be in sport traction bare minimum for better results.
2. Put the car in manual mode...
#1 is Final Fantasy 7, #2 is Metal Gear Solid, the one for PS1. These were the first two video games I ever played. My brother bought a PS1 and got FF7 and Metal Gear Solid as his two video games and needless to say, with these two games being the ones he chose, I became an addict very quick.
A pretty heavily modified 2016 Genesis Coupe R-Spec 3.8L M/T. Loved that car and I wish I could have kept it but couldn't afford two car payments at the same time.
I did run into one issue when putting the rears back together though. The rear driver-side lower control arm swivel hole DID NOT want to line up for me and I ended up stripping the bolt and had to source another from harbor freight to temporarily get the car back together while I waited on the...
I have the Z4 springs as well and have had zero noises from the suspension and I've had them installed for close to a year now. The look and handling are well worth it imo.
This is why I'm single lol! If it's my money and my car, no one else will ever tell me what that they wouldn't allow me to do it, other than the law of course lol.
