Sorry if my post came off as being accusatory, it was in fact meant to be the opposite. I was more so trying to explain why people may be asking questions about how and why things didn't seem quite right IF the car was in fact an A91, which it has now been proven that it is. Sorry again and good...
I believe what Razor is getting at is that either you aren't being completely honest OR you simply made a few mistakes in your original post. Here are a few things I noticed immediately when looking at the links that Razor attached for us.
1. As stated previously, the car has the A91 stitching...
Maybe I'm a bit old school when it comes to the interior and driver controls, but I personally prefer analog controls. I think the Supra strikes a great balance between digital and analog controls, but when you get into the newer Mustang it's ALL controlled via that damn touch screen. Not a fan...
So one buddy of mine has a 2020 S550 Mustang GT PP1 with the 10 speed auto, which I've driven several times in the past, and another buddy of mine just bought the new 2024 S650 Mustang GT PP1 with the 10 speed auto, and added the Black-out Package to it, which cost him $59,980 out the door, so...
When I was shopping for the Supra the car I was originally going to buy was a GT350, I love those cars so much. Still to this day I would love to have both. I have to agree with the other poster though, in the area I live in, people break their necks to get a good look at a Supra, where as when...
Back in 2020 when I bought my 2021, the dealership had a $10,000 markup on my car. It's just a standard run of the mill 3.0 Premium in Absolute Zero, yet they thought they could list if for $69,000 and sell it. Luckily I was able to get them to drop the markup, but yeah..... Dealer markups...
This has been an on and off issue with my car as well. The car has right at 8,000 miles on it and it also has a catless downpipe. Here recently, within the last two weeks I've had the car plume white/grayish smoke out of the exhaust two separate times, always smells like burning oil, both times...
I fully understand that, and that is why I didn't get uppity or mad with them in any way. I only expressed how I wish someone would have told me, that way I wasn't sitting there for almost another full hour without knowing what was taking so long.
I've also had a lot of horrible experiences with Toyota dealerships since purchasing my Supra.
1: Damage side skirt. Dealership tried to send me home saying the car was finished, as if I wouldn't notice. They ended up replacing the damage part.
2: Went in for a simple oil change that was...
I had/have both. My weather tech mats fit like absolute shit, almost like the mold was F'ed up and my mats came out warped, the over all quality felt like very thin/cheap rubbery plastic. The Tux Mat floor mats fit so much better and definitely look/feel like they are made of higher quality...
I have a 2021 with 8,000 miles on it. It's had a catless downpipe and been tuned since about 1,500 miles, until here recently when Toyota forced it back to stock with an ECU update. Anyways, I've had a wafting of smoke like you're describing maybe three or four times in the time I've owned this...
Don't bother with their social media. Just look at my dyno sheet. This was on 93 octane. First two runs, not tuned yet, just a catless downpipe install. The other two runs were stage 2 MHD 93 octane tune back-to-back pulls. Look at that ambient temp btw.
Sigh... This was before the Toyota...
I've seen two in person. One of the maroon red ones and the yellow, both of which looked pretty damn good to be honest, but I would personally take the red.
