I think the general consensus is that Yoko is far better on cars with enough camber (I assume that's dynamic), so it seems to be the 2020 choice for STR (or even 2019). On Street class though, some say with the combination of non-optimal wheel width and lack of camber, the tires just won't...
I am assuming you run both tires on OEM size wheels? Which tire do you like more? Does the "pinch" Yoko affect grip enough to make it not worth while and just go with the RE71R?
Yup, driven the ND when it first launch in an autox setting. Your point is fair enough, but personally, I still wouldn't call that fun when I have to brace myself in the car with the roll when trying to get through a corner quickly.
1st model year owner usually get the hit, is not news. Sometimes, the newer model year gets a price hike and you wish you bought the first two model year (aka GTR). =)
What size is the stock rear bar?
On a RWD car, I tend to think "if all else equal", the front bar should be changed before the rear bar is needed, especially on a softly sprung car.

Seems like any time either someone disagree with you or...
It is mind boggling that you take everything I said as absolute, just like your extreme comment on the car. Your entire argument is focused on one thing and one thing only. You also ignore the fact that they have made changes to the transmission in 2012 and the programming of the launch...
Not sure how you read into his post as saying Porsches have lots of reliability issues. The point he was making is all manufacturers have issues (some more than others and some more serious than others). And very often, some of these issues are overblown on the internet. Did the GTR have...
^ A little hard to take the Fifth Gear too seriously. It is short to the point, but also felt like they haven't given too much thoughts into explaining why they didn't like the car, other than the price and everything about the car says BMW.
Now I understand where your comment on "one trick pony straight line performance" comes from.
Well, as you said it, it affects traction. By "balance", I don't mean weight distribution, I mean the way the car behaves and has to be driven differently. With more power, your braking point...
