Sadly we have laws that are designed to kill all the fun and have anaemic cars. I asked the product manager if they would release upgrades for customer, he said potentially in the US and Japan, but unlikely in the UK due to emission laws.

The white looms really good up close, but the black has the edge to me. I've ordered white, but if I can't swap to black - be more than happy to have the white. Interesting hearing that black cars abroad where it's sunny are frowned upon. In the UK black cars usually preferred.

Autocar in the UK tested the same 3 cars - supra came out on top here too. Having driven the supra and the M2. Supra Def felt sportier, though M2 sounds better. Cayman with the 4 pot turbo just doesn't sit right. What the supra really needs is a better exhaust noise.

I really think that demand for this car is about to skyrocket - reviews coming out have it beating competitors and it will be for sale in far few numbers. Buying and flipping i can Def see happening. Interesting chatting to the guy who did the initial presentation who said that the day before...

So after putting a deposit down in October, today was the day of the Toyota test-drive event in the UK. After all the press releases etc, I went along just to have a day out, and then get my deposit back - didn't quite work out like that. Driving in saw 3 silver ones leaving, and was rather...

Was there today as well ... Was a very good day. Went there keen to get deposit back, but seeing the car in the flesh you do wonder what the hell they have done with the press pics as the car lik s absolutely stunning. Agree that the exhaust sounded far too quiet, but chatting to the Toyota...

I'm waiting to hear about the finance deal on these ... GT4 being released has got my finger hovering over the Porsche button again esp as more chance of getting one now it's not a totally limited car.

BMW have just announced the 2.0 Z4 will be available with the manual box. No word on the larger engines, but def a step in the right direction for those wondering if the supra will ever be available with a manual box.

Booked for Tuesday afternoon. Out of PURE chance - its 7 mins drive down the road from my office :) Taking a mate along with me - might as well make the most of it right?

Was rather pissed off that it's a Monday ... Then realised it's at Thruxton and right next to where I work! Was going to fall for my deposit back, but will do the track day first then get the money back.

Good to know females like it! Hope that's not their target market.
