£54k is serious money ... That's Cayman S, TT RS M2 Comp money which are are all proven metal. The resale is something else that bothers me as even after the launch for a while there were UK slots available, and with people getting their deposits back, I'm not sure how residuals will hold up...

Anyone actually heard anything about the cars, test drives or anything at all? It's been over 2 months since the car was launched and still nothing this end.

Should have kept the reservation in til you got a freebie day out test driving etc - that's the only reason I'm keeping my reservation. Going to spend £50k on a GTR instead :)

Thanks for that - ive had no contact from my dealer, though based on my experience of when i went in there to look for a car for my partner, im surprised they manage to open the doors each morning.

When do you need to confirm orders etc - as in last day to pull deposit?? I've tentatively clicked metallic white in the meantime :) Will see about the test drive and what reviews for the car are like before committing totally.

Im only in it for the freebies now. The car has too many flaws for me to consider spending what is in effect a very nice 991 £ on it.

I'll keep my deposit in to see what 'events' they have planned, but going to buy an M2 Comp or Cayman . Both come as manuals and are cheaper.

Its hideously overpriced when a Cayman S or M2 Comp is cheaper! AND they come as a manual for proper driving, rather than an auto.
