I don’t mind the wing portion of the spoiler - as others have mention, it’s just the weird part that runs along the tailgate that looks awful. This thing would’ve looked better if it were secured on each side of the car instead of having something that runs along the entire back of it.
Confirmed that with care, the 60” Xpel stealth sheet can fit the hood (but, as mentioned above, you have to be really careful to avoid stretch marks). It’s still a work in progress and I’m having some other stuff done to it, so I’ll share better pictures once they’re available, but for the time...
I ended up picking up just the trunk spoiler and the side door garnish; I didn't think the ground effects added that much in terms of looks so I opted out of those parts, and the LEs already come with all black wheels so I didn't go for the TRD wheels, either.
This looks a lot like the TRD carbon fiber spoiler that I picked up - I think that until pictures of this on the car come out you could probably reference pictures of the TRD spoiler since it looks like this was likely designed as a cheaper alternative to that.
lol yeah I had to ask to make sure I was seeing it correctly in another thread. It’s matte/satin black on the front part and glossy black on the back part.
Wouldn’t you need a renaissance red 2.0 LE owner to confirm that (unless the absolute zero owner had also seen both color Supras up close and done a side-by-side comparison)?
TRD just released a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics front license plate holder for the Japanese market; it runs 18,000 yen (around $180):

I was told that if I wrapped things like door handles and what not and, as a result, there was lifting, then that would be up to me to raise it with the installer as Xpel PPF wasn't typically meant to go around parts like that. Is that not true?
My current shop is leaning towards doing it with one 60" piece (they said that they have to be very careful to do it that way and avoid stretch marks, though). That's the last piece they have to do on the car before it's completely wrapped, so I'm interested to see how it turns out.
Of course...
When looking for rattles I’ve found this track to be pretty helpful:
Still trying some of the solutions here as well as messing around with other areas to see if I can isolate any more fixable noise.
Yeah, I know it wasn’t his car but that was his installer so I’m surprised that they’d install it differently for two of the same car knowing that they’re using BMW batteries. In any event, I guess I just need to find a shop that specializes in BMW installs and take the Supra there.
It looks like RRKnight's installer was aware of this and, as shown in the video above, tested for the circuits that turn off when the car is shut off (those that immediately turn off and not those that stay on for 5~20 minutes thereafter). Even then it seems to have caused issues... and as you...
