I don't think Lewis deserved that podium. He was an entire lap back from his mistake. Not denying his recovery from where he started after the red flag, but I don't think that he should have been allowed to make that lap back up during it.
It wasn't just him though, many drivers benefited from...

It was either the Supra or a RAV4 hybrid for me. Debate was between practicality or a fun and sporty daily. I've driven boring, practical cars my whole life ('05 Honda Civic, 2000 Chevy Silverado, 2015 Nissan Altima). When I saw an A91 drive by in person the debate was over. I still find myself...
Just got the KW coilovers installed at Studio RSR.
Max ride height in the front is much higher than stock.
The setup I went with is:
Front: Went about 1-1.25 inches down from max ride height.
Rear: Spring perch flush with threaded area, this way all of the threads are biting.
Final height...
Installed KW V3 coilovers.
Dropped the ride height by 20mm in the rear and 15mm in the front (might go another 5mm in the front, but I like the rear setup).
Also added 10mm spacers to the rear wheels, later when I change the wheels they will have another 5mm offset added.
Just gotta dial in...
After doing some further digging I've found this pdf from there website:
http://docs.kwsuspension.de/ea-KWGFwEA-h686200CG.pdf
It looks like the adjustment range is the following:
FA: 160mm / 6.3" - 180mm / 7.1"; or about 20mm of adjustment within the coilover.
RA: 25mm / 1.0" - 40mm / 1.6"...
Anyone know what the maximum ride height is for the KW V3 Coilover Kit? I'm trying to maintain as close to OEM ride height as possible since I have to traverse speed bumps daily.
On their product page it lists the following:
Lowering FA: 15-35mm
Lowering RA: 20-40mm
I can't remember what...
I just asked a local distributor/dealer here in California yesterday (I'm getting some mods done while I'm here visiting) and there were 2 already made and available (Non-resonated, Touring edition, Chrome tips).
1 in Texas (that I bought, will be here in California next week) and 1 in...
Anyone know if an M14x1.25x40 lug bolt will work with a 10mm spacer? I think the OEM length is 28, but I'm wondering if 2mm extra length is a bad thing. I believe ECS uses 40mm for their 10mm spacers.
Thanks to all for the answers. I think I am beginning to understand the effects.
The wheel and tire setup was an amalgamation from what I've seen most people running for "Supra fitment", so I was curious what the resulting handling characteristics would be with the seemingly normal setups...
Assuming the only changes to the Supra are the following:
Wheels: Wider with greater offset
Front: 19x9.5 Offset +22
Rear: 19x10.5 Offset +35
Tires: Same type as stock (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S), but wider
Front: 265
Rear: 285
What effect should this have on handling? I'm assuming that since...
Purchased in December. Just put some new tires on it with the cold weather approaching. 285/35 in the back, 265/35 in the front. Tires are Continental Extreme Contact DWS06.
