  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

You guys seem hell-bent on alignment so far, which I totally get. We don't think something could be loose? I think I'm going to do something rare for me and just leave it at the shop this week and have them figure it out. I've run clean out of motivation and fks.

I had the last guy triple check that, and he noticed that one wheel was slightly more forward than the other. He corrected it, but it didn't help the braking issue. Whether the traction links are actually the exact same, I'm unsure. See above. I'm new to trying to understand suspension so I...
  3. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Here you go. If something seems off, ask me, because I feel like they told me one of these numbers wasn't correct on the sheet. But it may be the caster that he wrote out (in which case the written number is correct) In regard to electronics, I track with traction completely off. I still feel...
  4. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I had an alignment adjustment a few days before the track day and another alignment check at the track from the shop there. Neither made a difference in this issue.

The best I can give you is this for now, though the video makes it not look as bad as it feels (it feels terrible and extremely unstable). I did some tests with my hands off the wheel to see what it did, and I need to export those video clips. If you start at this timestamp and maybe slow down...
  6. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Hi all, my turn to come to you with a problem (besides ongoing cooling issues). When I brake, even a medium amount, track or street, my entire car rotates to the right, every time. It also doesn't quite seem to be EXACLTY when I press the brakes, but almost after a split second. Honestly, it's...
  7. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

That sounds like a bubble in the line or something to me. If you haven't re-flushed since this started, I would just do another flush to rule that out. Especially since you said this started after your last flush.
  8. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I'm fairly certain it should make no difference, but maybe someone else will chime in with more experience.
  9. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

Hey @razorlab, just got done reading your build thread here. I, like many others here, genuinely appreciate the information you share, and the time you take out of your day to respond and document. Thank you. I am still incredibly jealous of your oil temps and I hope I can get mine worked out...
  10. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

If you have any questions about them, including install, just call them. They're very responsive. A guy named Turner works there and now tracks an A90 Supra. He is a very good resource and goes out of his way to help.

I was told they can help get you a little more camber out of the front in combination with the front LCA’s on an otherwise stock suspension setup. I’m not 100% we needed them. You could probably start with the LCAs and see if you can get enough and add the caster bushings later. The bushings...
  12. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I was extremely happy with the times I put down while Supra was bone stock on the stock PSS tires. That said I was definitely ready to get some stiffer suspension after a couple of days on the stock setup. SPL front caster bushings and LCA will allow you to get enough camber to not shred your...
  13. trash site

It looks like the offset is blank. Any idea what those values should be?

Just to circle back to this, that was indeed the issue. Thank you. I'm really a fan of this product thanks to this tutorial. The only thing I seem to be missing is transmission temp, but I haven't gotten around to really playing with it and trying to find it myself yet.
  15. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I’m really surprised no one has mentioned Nitron R1/R3’s for coilovers? I don’t have experience with MCS, but my shop guy that competes in his Supra switch off MCS for Nitrons and swears by them. And I must say they feel insanely good, but I don’t have any other experience with other good...
  16. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

You can like in any car, but I’m pretty sure you’ll want to keep at least a decent amount of the OE coolant in there to prevent corrosion, especially on these German engines. We coded mine out and it works, however it brought up a headlight actuator error that sits in the Messages display, not...
  17. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

@razorlab, do you think after these last few track days that doing the proper coolant bleed will actually do anything? Is there really no way for these cars to "self burp" the bubbles? I would figure any gaps/bubbles would've worked itself out by now.
  18. 5w40 motor oil

15w-50 Mobil 1 *for the ZL1*. I, too, am shocked with the temps.
  19. 5w40 motor oil

I agree, but again, it's only because the oil has been getting so hot for me. If Blackstone says it looks good then I'll leave it for a few track days. I came from a 2020 ZL1 1LE. It had an oil life tracker that accounted for hard driving / track use. It was regularly 280-290 F easy, and that's...
  20. B58 Air-to-Oil cooler retrofit from M340i

Stock tune with AMS intake mani and full suite of CSF heat exchangers.
