Agreed w/ the above.
They won't "make" more power, they're more of a solution. Slightly better heat dissipation back to the cylinder head, keeps you from having preignition (knock) if you tend to run really hot. So they can fix a problem, if you have one, but they aren't better nor recommended...
Way back when, I got an older car corner balanced after I installed coilovers because I didn't trust just doing it visually by checking ride heights. It might have actually been enough to just do that alone, I couldn't say.
It seems you could hold off for some day down the road, you might come...
Random note, 6.5 liters is 6.9 qts. When filling just be sure you're looking at the right units and how your oil is measured in the jugs you're buying it in. I don't foresee anything catastrophic if you get it wrong people overfill intentionally for track, and it'll warn you if it's too far...
That doesn't sound right or normal. I know I don't have to press it nearly that far in anyhow, as a data point.
If they've changed the leverage on it i.e. the attachment points for that pin that pushes the master cylinder, it might be that the actual pedal travel that would mark the beginning...
That would be @Strat-Supra who was the first to order it and install it. Just to give credit where it is due.
That's completely unexpected, to me at least. But it would explain a lot. Mine's like the parts diagram and pictures. I'd have thought they'd have the identical parts simply moved to...
I think we agree then. It seemed like you didn't believe anything could be changed at all. You seemed skeptical the CDV did anything or that shift knob weights felt different, and bolded the mention of the height change as well regarding what didn't make sense. I was surprised, but I now see you...
Why not? You're really stuck on this. If the various attachment points have moved, the geometry / leverage / operation will change. The overall shape at rest and where your foot contacts it can be changed as well. You seem set on implying it's impossible to revise the pedal itself or have...
Also would you mind confirming what I think I see which is that the pedal height off the floor is basically in line with the brake (and not an inch or two higher than the brake)?
Thank you, by the way, so much for being the guinea pig here.
They do that, my dark "San Remo" green 4 is gorgeous 90% of the time, the other 10% the sun hits it just right and it's like the paint is milky or something. There are definitely times where the right light and right viewing angle make it look like something is kind of messed up.
Thankfully the...
It'll be interesting to see how the Constructor's ends up this year. I'm kind of thinking McLaren winning again, then.... Ferrari, Mercedes, and Red Bull in 4th?
I know folks said Piastri was good, and I agree, but I didn't see him eclipsing Norris quite this soon. Wow on that one.
For a few...
I had that once, I lowered my Eclipse and the drive to the alignment shop was intense. It was like the back end couldn't make up its mind what to do with itself. I think the rear tires actually took turns one going straight, the other at a crazy angle. A moment later they'd trade jobs.
Ugh, I can not read today. I was thinking slightly negative toe was the norm but no. I looked back at my own notes and indeed about .15 positive is where I landed. I'll just shut up now.
No, it only recently came out and my last discussion with rogue was they didn't know if it'd fit, to give it time. Also the "feels like" temperature even late in the day here is 33F so it'd be a while before I'm doing any wrenching on the car that isn't required to be done.
