  1. SOLVED - Fuel delivery after broken fuel line - won’t start

Generically speaking, don't rule out anything at all. Start with obvious stuff and when that doesn't work move to the less obvious stuff to be sure you're thorough, including anything that worked for a few days. Apparently everything worked for a few days, then didn't, and so it's all suspect at...
  2. DIY Clutch Delay Valve (CDV) Removal

I tend to agree, but please note in the same post you mention wanting data and a blind test, apparently to form an opinion, right after you state as fact that its presence doesn't affect normal drivers in normal circumstances which can only be taken to mean that none of us actually notices what...
  3. DIY Clutch Delay Valve (CDV) Removal

Eh, but he's right to question it. I too think he might believe a bit strongly about something without having all the details, sure, but haven't ever actually met him so I can't judge his personality. But pointing out that the info presented is for a different car is not at all something he...
  4. Rogue Engineering G8X M2/M3/M4 Short Travel Clutch Arm

As an engineer I'm really reluctant to take such guesses. Nothing extreme, but noticeable. 25% reduction? 1/3? Can't say and will admit it might actually be 0. This kind of stuff is tough to be accurate on. There's a spot on the new pedal where you attach it to the slave cylinder (is it...
  5. Rogue Engineering G8X M2/M3/M4 Short Travel Clutch Arm

You might have to rephrase the question if I don't answer it right. You're talking about the travel / distance between kind of like beginning to disengage and becoming full disengaged, or vice-versa letting off and engaging? I don't have a number on that and it would be hard to get one. My...
  6. H&R springs harsh ride

Sounds like your struts are blown. Assuming it's not just you opinion that's changed and it's actually the suspension that has.
  7. Rogue Engineering G8X M2/M3/M4 Short Travel Clutch Arm

Copying and pasting a post I made also on the Z4 forums elsewhere. But I am guessing all of my thoughts would transfer to a Supra as well, so hopefully at lest 1 person on the fence can find this useful: Finally got the Rogue clutch pedal installed this morning. Have to admit I brought it to a...
  8. Formula 1 Talk

I really don't know, so I'll ask for opinions - is George good enough to win a championship if he's in a great car? I kind of think so but it seems that so many F1 drivers are pretty great that maybe he's actually just mid pack. Or top 10 but no way #1? Trying to think of what team has the best...
  9. How bad did they screw my Supra?

Does it drive straight with the steering wheel also straight? I think the sensor for the implausible code is actually at the steering wheel itself. Seems impossible they could have done anything there. I could believe something underneath was damaged since they were actually underneath, but not...
  10. Formula 1 Talk

The former appears to be the case, the latter? Just a guess for now? Assuming if it happens, it'll be Russell getting replaced, they're having some contract issues apparently? Wonder where he would go. Lots of shuffling around the last year or two, but maybe it's always that way and I've only...
  11. Axle & differential error (post wheel alignment) - GR Supra 2023

You mentioned that you got the parts installed on the car, and that you reversed it off the ramp. Who did the actual work on the car? Maybe it doesn't actually matter, but I am wondering if something got massively messed up during the alignment? If one side is dramatically different than the...
  12. Formula 1 Talk

Crazy! From on top of the world just a year and a half or so ago, to today. I get it, but wow, what a difference.
  13. Coding start/stop memory

You don't need to ask this twice. See here: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/start-stop-2023-supra.18649/page-5#post-479370
  14. Start stop 2023 supra

For my Z4 and almost guaranteed for your Supra, you set start / stop to be automatically off as a setting in the personalized Sport mode. Then you use Bimmercode to have the car automatically start in that mode. Here's where I set mine: Body Domain Controller Default Driving Mode = Sport...
  15. Formula 1 Talk

Same! I've never met an F1 driver and only know what I know from interviews, reading, and of course the Netflix show. But he's one of my favorites. Not minding Hamilton getting high up as well. I kind of hoped he'd win 1 more season someday with Ferrari but clearly that won't happen. Kind of...
  16. What did you do to your Supra today?

Nice! I like their stuff. I was going to ask if it was them but then read what you wrote and saw it was.
  17. Razorlab - 2020 LE build thread

Hopefully this isn't out of place in a build thread, but on the tire topic, you might be interested in this video (I like this guy a lot in general and you might like the data presented).
  18. What did you do to your Supra today?

FRP A GRP is an FRP. But the two terms seem to be used interchangeably the handful of times I've been around them. Maybe the preference depends what country you're in?
  19. What did you do to your Supra today?

Toyota says 56Nm (~41 ft lbs). BMW says 56Nm + 90 degrees. I'd go with the lesser, it's already plenty tight for that size bolt in something that's arguably more decoration than function.
  20. SOLVED - Fuel delivery after broken fuel line - won’t start

I know that there's a fuel bleed option in ISTA which of course none of us normally have. Something like BImmerlink could have it as well? It would be worth a look. It wouldn't seem that you lost enough fuel or have enough air introduced for that to prevent a start after a few tries. A couple...
