I guess like others I do lean towards the "Supra is probably not the right car for you conclusion" but ignoring all that I do find the question you (I think) posed earlier which was basically "if money is no object what could be accomplished with the b58 in the Supra" intriguing. I'd love to...
Thanks for this map as this is reassuring for when I get around to tuning. Only having 91 here in CO is a bummer, but glad to know finding E85 won't be much of a challenge - maybe just out of the way from my normal gas stations.
I agree - on these cars I either want something functional and aggressive akin to a Porsche GT car wing or I want something subtle that fits the cars lines which I feel the various duckbills do. Currently I have a duckbill.
The problem is they've just created a very divisive look for the G80/G82. I greatly prefer the updated styling on those cars and have from day 1. Obviously a not insignificant number of people (many from BMWs core customer basis) feel differently.
The M2 on the other hand I'm really struggling...
These look great. I've always thought polished wheels can look really good though it seems they went out of style a few years ago seeing how wheels rarely are offered with even the option for polished nowadays.
I've got the r8. Based on my research a month or so back when I bought it...the r7 and r8 were more or less considered best in class and while I knew the difference was minimal I'd rather have the latest greatest so I'm not second guessing myself down the road.
No complaints whatsoever on the...
Saw you're even in Colorado Springs nearby...if these sit around for a couple months there is a good chance I'll break. Wheels are supposed to be a next year thing...
Awesome - appreciate the reply and knowing someone's been out there! Watched a few videos of the track following your response and it looks like a great beginner track (in terms of risk) which I'll gladly take. Guess I need to look to signing up for my free track day to get this potential...
Went without the gasket. It was clearly clamped poorly because the gasket didn't allow room without the groove for it. Didn't realize from below, obvious from up top though.
For those who search on the MAPerformance downpipe, since the forum didnt have much info: Sound improvement is just about...
Currently installing my MAPerformance downpipe and as you can see in the picture (link below) it does not have an indentation for the turbo crush gasket like the AA downpipe/stock downpipe. Based on the instructions on the website I think I just skip that gasket entirely. The only way to use the...
I was assuming this was some link through paypal and you asked for payment. if this link was randomly sent to you I agree with all the other posters, don't click!
I dont know that the link is safe but i wouldn't paste it in a public forum in case someone else can claim it...it's probably fine though could try googling to confirm.
Looks perfect. I have the same ones in my garage and plan to install this weekend along with a downpipe. Or at least will get one of the two installed this weekend if I end up feeling lazy (or more realistically too many wife to-do's)
If you figure out how to ship I'm very interested in the exhaust and would pay shipping. I'm in Denver. That said I have no ideas on shipping that other than finding big boxes and taking them to Fedex ha.
While I agree in principle that the nature of a lot of these parts for our cars are expensive for the level of value they actually provide...the reality is low volume custom parts are expensive to develop, have made and shipped, and then the person who created wants to turn a profit (and...
Completely agree I'm surprised nothing like this is on the market, though I'm sure it would be $$$. Functionally I'm guessing Verus is very similar but this just looks factory. Big wings have grown on me but there is nothing that looks quite right currently, to me.
Would try searching the forum if you haven't already as there are at least a few perspectives on FI exhaust. I'd definitely love to hear more feedback on it, specifically the AA + Fi combo since that is my plan (technically a MAP 400 cell downpipe instead of AA) based on the limited numbers of...
