  1. A91 replica spoiler

I'm not even able to place an order for a matte/gloss black at this point so I don't think carbon fiber alone is the issue here. My communications with Automodz went from "We're opening a second batch in a week" in the middle of April to radio silence now mid June and all the replica spoilers...
  2. Kevin Estre is insane

I can watch this video all day. I'm more of a Merc guy when it comes to GT3 racing but Kevin Estre is just one of the best
  3. Do you find the paddle shifters awkward?

Same. I think longer paddle shifters would only become handy if they were fixed to the steering column so you can reach them more easily while turning the wheel. In the case of paddles attached to the wheel I don't see how it would make any difference. I'd think people are buying them only for...
  4. New owner maintenance opinions and advice??

Makes total sense that they would go with a BMW service interval instead of the typical Toyota for this car. I just googled the Z4's schedule and it's 10k miles/1year for oil and filter. I'll reach the year before the 10k miles for sure so I'll stick with their schedule....also because I'm not...
  5. New owner maintenance opinions and advice??

The reason why I'm undecided has nothing to do with cost and everything to do with what's best for the engine. Now having said that, I know nothing about engines. I take my cars to their scheduled maintenance service and that's pretty much it, lol Someone suggested to let the factory oil do its...
  6. New owner maintenance opinions and advice??

Maybe I'll go for the middle ground....say 8k miles which will probably coincide with the 1 year mark.
  7. New owner maintenance opinions and advice??

I was planning on doing the oil change for my 2.0 at 5k miles (which is roughly 7 months) but the service rep also said to me today that the recommendation for the Supra is 10k miles or 1 year. I haven't had any oil warnings nor I expect to have the infamous oil issues in the 2.0 but 10k miles...
  8. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

If I thought the Supra looked like clown shoes, I can assure you I wouldn't have spent CAD$60k in one but I'm concerned you think it does and you're considering it, or so you say :dunno: In fairness, the Supra didn't look "great" either in pics from certain angles....totally different story in...
  9. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

I apologize. That's the best I could achieve drawing on a phone ?
  10. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

I second the phrase that beauty is in the eye of the beholder Me for example, this is what I see when I look at pictures of the Proto
  11. What's the longest road trip you've taken in Supra?

Thanks man, never say never!! Once all this craziness is over and borders reopen, I might stay in Seattle for the weekend and take you on that offer!
  12. What's the longest road trip you've taken in Supra?

Drove to Whistler and back a few times during winter which is some 300km round trip. That highway is a dream to drive in this car. Waiting for travel restrictions to be lifted here in BC to drive past Whistler and do the whole loop around the mountains (in summer tires this time) which should be...
  13. What’s your actual gas mileage?

Nahh, we know how to fight back ? But we are very low in numbers compared to 3.0 owners so it is what it is Now on topic, I'm getting 24 mpg in my 2.0 Normal mode on weekdays as my daily commute is about 3 miles to and from work....Sport mode on weekends
  14. Do you find the paddle shifters awkward?

I've been driving cars with paddle shifters for some 17 years now. My first car with paddles was an Alfa Romeo 147 and it was like a dream come true. I felt like a Formula1 driver lol. Since then, all my cars have come with paddles Nowadays I only switch to manual when I wanna have some...
  15. Throttle hesitation

Yes, same in my case. It's happened about 3 times in 6 months so not often but always from a stop at a traffic light within the first ten minutes.
  16. Throttle hesitation

I'll add to this as in my case it has also always been while the car is cold and almost positive it was in Sport mode......hasn't happened in over a month though. Also non engine type dependent either as mine is a 2.0 (B48)
  17. High turnover on MKV Supras?

I'm with max here. Kept my FR-S for 6 years because there was no other car within my budget that excited me enough to trade it for.....until the Supra made an appearance, that is. I don't have a need for SUV's/CUV's, sport sedans don't excite me and muscle cars even less so. I don't see...
  18. Cracked windshield

This should be covered by insurance.....assuming you're paying one lol Mine cracked only 2 months after getting the car. I paid the CAD$200 deductible to get it replaced and it only took a couple hours. The actual cost was something around CAD$1,500. Apparently these windshields are fragile...
  19. High turnover on MKV Supras?

Exactly. I can even carry my skis inside the car. Back seats in sports cars are useless anyways so in exchange you get a slightly bigger trunk in the Supra. This isn't any less practical than say an 86/BRZ.
  20. Do you regret buying your 2.0?

2.0 owner here and I just typed this 5 minutes ago related to your question. Short answer, no I don't regret it and yes it's pretty quick, ask the police officer that gave me a speeding ticket a couple of weeks ago ? https://www.supramkv.com/threads/high-turnover-on-mkv-supras.9183/post-132703
