  1. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

I still think that for most situations the power of the 2.0 is more than enough, unless you plan to take it to the track, in which case is a no brainer. I haven't driven the 3.0 and I've had mine for less than a month, but to Xxyion's point, people who have driven both agree that the 2.0 has...
  2. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

So first of, my FR-S was stock (I'm not really into the tuning scene) and it was auto. In this day and age with automatic transmissions being so technologically advanced and traffic getting worse in the cities, I don't bother with manual transmissions anymore, so the "no manual no buy" argument...
  3. Opinion of Current 2.0 and 3.0 Owners

So many 2.0 haters here!! ? This comment is bang on. Does that make the 2.0 a bad car? Absolutely not. Of course if money is not an issue the 3.0 is the better car, just like the 2.0 is better than the 86. As someone who doesn't preach on the Fast 'n Furious Supra name, I saw the 2.0 for what...
  4. MY2021 Canadian orders

Thank you!! It's trash indeed. Had it not been for SupraYYJ I'd still be looking at months of waiting with a deposit paid while some lucky window shopper would be driving this very car. It's too bad that since yours is a LE, I guess there's not much you can do except demand answers from your dealer.
  5. MY2021 Canadian orders

Picked her up yesterday. She's a beauty
  6. All-New 2022 Subaru BRZ Makes Global Debut

As a current Scion FR-S owner, I'm a bit disappointed with the exterior, especially the rear. I prefer the looks of the current generation, the Scion/Toyota even more so than the Subaru. It's losing some of its aggressive looks imo. The interior does look a bit better though. I'm supposed to...
  7. Anyone on square 255/40R18 setup?

I'm in the middle of placing an order for Winter wheels and tires. My initial order was for a square setup of 255/40R18 in 18x9.5 wheels and the shop I ordered from is emailing me back saying that they can't guarantee the fit on the rears as the OEM are different sizes. I've read here and...
  8. MY2021 Canadian orders

Unbelievable. They are clueless about everything. I was hopeful but skeptical when the guy told me I was getting the car this Sunday. Of course he called me earlier today to change the appointment to next Saturday as they haven't been able to get a hold of the tools they need to program the car...
  9. Winter Tire Sizing (on 18x9)

@squirrelysupra sorry to hijack your thread but I'm also looking into an 18in square setup for winters and I'm wondering if 9.5 inches is possible?? Considering the OE front wheels are 9in..... If you (or anyone else) happens to know. I've also seen that the recommended setup for winter is...
  10. MY2021 Canadian orders

Fact. How can you explain giving a car first to a dealership with no existing preorders and ignore customers who already gave a deposit? Beyond me. Already got my deposit back without a problem. Thanks again!
  11. MY2021 Canadian orders

I owe you a beer man!! You literally saved me months of waiting. I just returned from the Vancouver dealership. The vehicle is officially mine now (tho delivery won't happen until Sunday) and it's the same color as my initial order (Renaissance Red). I just need to get my deposit back...
  12. Compatible roof racks?

Yeah, I definitely don't see myself doing the warming thing and I'm not 100% confident about suction cups either, though they're probably safe. Even if not totally ideal, the fact that you can even fit skis/snowboard inside this 2 seater is one of the things that won me over. I can't think of...
  13. Compatible roof racks?

Was wondering if I was the only one thinking about doing this. lol.....Even though in my case it's skis. I'm unable to personally test this myself as it's very rare to find Supras at dealerships here in Canada. Fortunately for me, I'm a short person and my skis are only 161cm long. Judging by...
  14. MY2021 Canadian orders

Congrats on Suprcat!!! Even if in storage, you must be very happy it's in your possession already. I think 5 weeks is pretty fast for Canadian standards.
  15. MY2021 Canadian orders

It's been 5 weeks since I gave a deposit for a 2021 Supra 2.0 in the BC lower mainland. I just recently called the dealership but they have no news or ETA yet, which I kinda expected but I want to hear from other fellow Canadians who have placed orders for a 2021 model (all models) anywhere in...
  16. 2.0 Supra have landed at U.S. dealers

Any signs of 2.0 Supras arriving at US west coast yet?
  17. How long did it take to get your Supra?

Yeah i saw that but nothing yet either in the US west coast apparently judging by that last comment. Only 10 authorized dealers here in metro Vancouver and I called all of them last week but that post you linked makes me hopeful they could be arriving soonish here too.
  18. How long did it take to get your Supra?

It's directed to all owners so thanks for replying. That's awesome, you didn't have to wait too long at all. I'm guessing timing on placing the order combined with the stage of production/transit cars are already in play a huge role on how long it takes. I'm hoping there are some 2.0 shipments...
  19. How long did it take to get your Supra?

Hi there. I was just reading the thread on A91's arriving this month in the US. You might as well get lucky and get yours very soon. Since mine won't be a special edition I'm hoping it won't take that long!!! Post pics when you get yours Cheers
  20. How long did it take to get your Supra?

So I gave the deposit last week for a Supra 2.0 but they wouldn't dare to even give me an estimate at the dealership on how long it will take to get it here (Canadian west coast). They said it could be one month or it could be six months, so I'm wondering, for those of you who pre-ordered, how...
