having IATs that are actually too cool is not a thing. Im talking real IATS not spraying the IAT sensor lying to the ECU IATS. However, Coolant temps should remain between 190-215deg F. colder than that you lose efficiency, and hotter than that you do as well.
i be kinda wanting people to challenge. But most never do. and if they do its more indirect than anything, like hard accelerations without asking to race. Almost like trying to get me to chase. Usually when that happens i let them take off, then i real them in hard. and they do want to go...
These ECUs are virtually like a standalone. Many Safeties and features already built into the logic, you just have to know how to use them, turn them on or off, and adjust them to where its beneficial for what you're trying to do.
For an easier explanation, the limp modes people experience are...
no problem happy to help. We are looking to have our rod and piston bottom end done by the summer. SO, if thats done, we'll see 1k by the end of this year. as that was our original goal.
Stock trans clutches are good to 750-760tq this weve already tested. Trans itself should be fine to about 800-900tq with upgraded clutches. At least thats what myself and trans builder think. but torque in the 700-800s is more than plenty for a car this weight. we are honestly close or...
I mean, it is tune friendly. you can't really expect them give access without a little fight. Remember they still need to protect their investment a bit.
Any flash tool can check it. As long as it gives you the rom id.
Yes, newer updates have close the hole to OBD2 flashing. These need to be bench flash first until OBD2 flashing exploit is found again on the newer locked ROMs
you will more than likely get oil residue where it broke off. You can drive it, but i wouldnt leave it like that for an extended period of time. I guess i should make aluminum -AN replacements for that.
The seat belt does not have to be buckled during the flash. However if you open or close the door during the flash it will fail dude to that action shutting off electronics. If you put the car into diagnostic mode without doing anything for 60 seconds or so, the car will turn itself off...
kpro is not really comparable to Ecutek. Ecutek is a flash tool that enables reprogramming of the factory ECU via OBD2. Kpro is more like a hardware upgrade with an addon programmable chip. Ecutek is mainly all software.
Like stated above, more comparable to Flashpro from Hondata.

in terms of full boost control.... not possible right this moment due to it being external wastegate. it can be run on the stock ecu just without boost control unless external control is used.
sure you can run a smaller turbo. but i was basing the response off the offerings they has listed.
98%-100% aftermarket boost solenoids cant operate that frequency that the ECU operates at. which is why i said external is needed right now.
The wastegate has nothing to do with the B58 pressure bypass system. The wastegate is just that the wastegate and controls boost pressure, not boost pressure bypass.
B58 sequentially shuts off cylinders to release pressure through the exhaust.
B58 does not even have vacuum in the manifold to...
