this code is present on BONE stock untouched cars,and its on every flashing platform unless coded out. Im certain its an option on other BMWs but not on the Supra, and it was just a coding issue. My car had it on delivery and still would if i hadn't coded it out.

many catted DP's will occasionally through a CEL. depending on how many Cells the cat is, is kinda what determines if it will throw an efficiency code or not. But yea certain areas do actually physically check for cats on cars. Luckily for me in New York, its never actually checked or smogged.

remove the two screws that bolt the top corner of the bumper to the car. Then remove the two splash guards pictured and you will be able to access the horn.
Thats the thing, until racerom (which technically isn't fully released yet. Only tuners have) there were no "extra features" with Ecutek vs MHD. They were the same. At least to me since i already had all the tables that Ecutek gave to everyone else.

there are a ton of tuners on MHD. i'm one, and virtually every other tuner tuning these cars started on MHD (or BM3). most now just choose not to tune on MHD because Ecutek gave them everything. i support both because i have the same tables since before ecutek,

really all you have to do is remove the wheel well splash guard. But even removing the bumper, you dont have to mess with the sensors. You only need to unplug one connector on each side thats where the bumper meets the fender.
