You might be referencing that DI has better knock resistance? I don't think that will change unless you stopped using DI all together. Plus, the OEM HPFP will have more than enough head room with PI for the numbers you are looking for.

That is 100% teflon tape. A big no-no on AN fittings.

Zero reason to upgrade HPFP if you are going PI. Like zero.
