acknowledge & praise all reviews which claim the mkv "feels japanese"
hypocritically question all reviews on how it "feels bmw"
meanwhile toyota is trying to create a image of heritage and technological prowess. there is a disconnect. they would have been better off just...
what is so difficult about using the M240i's MT in the Supra....I don't care if it doesn't have great shifting feel and a vague clutch, still trillion times better than any autobox
considering there was already a MT sitting on the shelf for the B58, which has been in use in the M240i, why would you believe otherwise...? Just plain and simple Toyota doesn't believe it is worth their time & money..
meh, if the auto sells well Toyota could claim that it shows people don't care about having a manual and thus won't bother investing in bringing one to market.....if too many people hold out waiting on a manual and don't bring up initial sales then they'll cry and say the market isn't big enough...
why are people still comparing Zs to the Supra....Nissan already has a flagship coupe with the GTR, the Z ain't ever gonna be fighting no Supra and let's be real it starts at $29 K so complaining about NISMO pricing is silly...
not surprising, probably due to how Toyota & Subaru determined production ratios from the factory since they know the folks who buy Subies are on average more likely to be bigger enthusiasts than a Toyota fanboy and throw in the fact that historically they build & sell more 86 than BRZ and there...
..what is wrong with Chris? he can actually drive very well unlike the rest of those fools you mentioned plus he correctly understands car mechanics, he knows what enthusiasts want and he ain't afraid to tell the automakers what he thinks. Regardless, if you don't think Roman is the biggest...
IDC about the BMW bits, I wanted to know actual driving details on the Supra..Roman is unbiased because he is clueless half the time..he gets so many things wrong -.- I would barely trust his advice on dad jokes...the Supra should have been reviewed by Nathan
...you're taking my points very oddly...no, it has nothing to do holding power, that wasn't my argument...the problem here is exactly what you are pointing out! "more consistent and much quicker" than a human! we're driving on the streets, so a faster 0-60 time or getting beat by a Mustang...
nothing new, also like that on the GT86/BRZ twins...virtually all coupes with frameless windows do that to avoid hitting the door frame and to create a good seal when closing the door.
huh? I'm not complaining about the level of performance but come on nearly all the reviews I've read complained that there wasn't an option. Hell, I would take 100 less HP and have a stick for this Supra. And yes, automatic trans is for paper specs or at least for cars with a bunch of power...
meh..
they act like they had to pull teeth to work with bmw for a "sports car" but come on, logically why the hell would they want to partner together...to make a crossover?...origin story for this supra is overdramatic & a stupid political dance compared to 86...
when they say the only...
but he said it is nice car and objectively we all know it is but there are plenty of other nice coupes....Chris is right to chastise Toyota for treating their most iconic nameplate this way..
I'm sure it would be easy to swap them out but annoyingly you're still going to have the cutout..I dislike them as well, to the point where I would consider a bumper swap to get rid of them altogether.
that wouldn't be a body kit, that is a kit car. at the end of the day, the supra doesn't share the proportions of the FT1, it is taller, frumpier, the read end is shorter, etc...it will always look odd compared to the FT1 so unless you're a rich ass mofo and willing to basically re-design the...
he has always bee a rather poor reviewer anyways as a man that requires such a wide turn where he crosses into the opposing lane should be fired from every sports car review from here on out...he is comparing "fun" but the only "fun" thing he refers to is driving fast in a straight line and...
